You: wait what....
My voice cracking, everyone looked down and my mom walked up to me grabbing my hand.
Mom: I'm so sorry y/n but you start as soon as you get out of the hospital
Tears ran down my face like crazy.
You: no no no mommy please I'll get better I promise I'll stop vaping and doing shit just please give me a chance please don't send me
She shook her head. No no no no I don't want to go, Im just going through stuff doesn't mean I need to go right.
Then some lady walked in with a notebook and was in formal clothes.
K: hello you must be y/n y/ln
I looked at my mom to see her walking up to the lady.
Mom: hello I'm y/n's mother
The lady smiled shaking my moms hand. This is the group person.
K: nice to meet you guys!
She walked up to me putting out her hand, I didn't shake her hand but just rolled my eyes. She finally caught on and pulled her hand back.
Mom: y/n!
I rolled my eyes at her.
K: it's fine it happens all the time but my name is Kelly and I'll be the person who helps you-
You: I don't need your help
I cut her off. The group went home when the Kelly girl came.
C: y/n stop being bitch!
My mom looked at her shocked and I just rolled her eyes.
You: oh shut up you act like your so broken but no stop acting like you are cuz you have no fucking idea Cassandra!
I yelled at her making her walk out and slam the door. My mom went after her leaving me alone with this Kelly girl.
K: listen-
You: no you listen I don't need no ones help so your better off leaving
She chuckled and set her notebook down.
K: your mother call me to help you and what your going through ok so just met me help you!
She said raising her voice a little bit. I laughed at her.
You: you probably have no idea what we go through everyday ok
She scoffed at me.
K: you don't know me! My dad, mom, sister, and brother died when I was 7 years old so I was sent to a orphans home that's why I decided to become a therapist for teens who are hurt and kids to!
I looked down, I didn't know that. So she was hurt like the rest of us.
You: I'm sorry I didn't mean-
K: it's ok you didn't know so just please let me help you
I nodded my head and smiled. We started talking when my mom and sister came back into mu room.

1 week later
Kai: y/n let's go!
You: I'm coming Kai!
I yelled down and got everything I needed. I'm really nervous this is my first time going to the group but wtv. I went downstairs and me and Kairi got into the car.
You: this is it
Kairi nodded and gave me a small smile.
Kai: call me when your done ok?
I nodded my head and gave me a hug then got out the car.
I saw Kelly waiting for me outside the door. She smiled at me and lead me to the room with 7 other teens who looked my age. They all stared as I walked in.
K: guys we have a new friend joining us would you please like to introduce yourself and why your here
I sat down on a chair and nodded my head.
You: I'm uh y/n y/ln and I'm 16 years old, I'm here because um......
I didn't wanna cry so I looked down, am I ready for this? I mean is anyone ready for this? Kelly grabbed my hand and nodded her head.
You: I'm here because my dad and brother pasted away. I started to vape and do other stuff to take the pain away from what happened to them.
I wiped a tear that fell down my face.
?: that's it
This one guy said laughing making the rest laugh.
K: hey we do NOT laugh at what other people go through!
Kelly yelled making everyone stop laughing and look down.
You: what did you guys go through since you wanna laugh at me huh?!
I was pissed. These bitches wanna laugh at me I didn't even tell them the whole story of what happened.
T: I'm Tyler and I'm here because my mom passed away giving birth to me
I rolled my eyes, so you didn't even meet your mom and your laughing at me?! But I ain't that type of person so I ain't gon make fun of him.
L: I'm Laya and my boyfriend died of cancer
Now I felt bad for her, I mean that's someone you loved and cared for and just watching them just past away.
H: I'm Hayden and my dad passed away in a fire.
I nodded my head looking down.
The rest went and it was my turn to say how my brother and dad died cuz I didn't say how.
K: y/n please tell us how your brother and father died
She looked at me smiling, I nodded my head slowly and looked up.
You: my dad died in front of me from a shark attack trying to save me from drowning and my brother died in a shooting at Walmart saving me as well, so basically I watched both of them die.
Everyone got quiet, no laughing know huh stupid bitches
