Three shots rang out and I watched as his lifeless body drops to the ground in front of me.
A shrill scream escaped me as I couldn't believe what I just witnessed.
"You're a monster," I screamed with tears running down my face.

Donte dragged me through the winding corridors. I tried explaining to him that I had an early morning and could not stay up any longer, to no prevail.
When we finally got to Donte's suite, I was shaking like a leaf. I had been there before whilst I was getting ready that morning, but barely alone with the Don. As we walked in, I took a seat in the chair the farthest from his bed as he strode across the room.
Once he was on the other side of his suite, he opened a small gold box on his desk and took out a small cigarette-looking item. Donte saw me eying the roll curiously and smirked.
"You ever smoked?" He asked as he lit what I assumed to be a cigarette.
"No, I'm not really into smoking," I responded.
From the roll's scent, I soon realized that it was a joint and not a cigarette. This put me further at unease as an uninhibited Donte was the last thing I wanted to deal with this evening.
He continued to smoke the joint while we sat there in silence. The entire time his eyes never left me. My skin began to feel uncomfortable at his prying eyes. It was late, and I had work in the morning. Why on earth was I in Donte's room?
"Donte, what am I doing here?" I asked him.
The second the question resonated, he stood up and came towards me. He towered over me, and I refused to make eye contact with him, keeping my eyes firmly planted on the ground.
"Truthfully, I want you in my bed, under me, screaming... in pleasure, of course," Donte responded.
I shivered at his statement, and my heart began to race. There was no denying that I was physically attracted to Donte. He was gorgeous, much resembling Lucifer, the fallen angel. Beautiful but furiously dangerous. I had made a promise to Adrian that I intended to keep. I was not going to fall for Donte's devilishly good looks and charm.
"Well, if you have more than two brain cells, you realize there is no way that would ever happen, right?" I finally looked up and made eye contact with the devil himself. At my statement, his eyes lit up with challenge.
