Jodi was doing some spring cleaning, on a beautiful April afternoon. It was partly sunny, with a gentle breeze, blowing all around. She cleaned out her closet, and got rid of some clothes, she didn't need anymore. She would take them to the clothing bin later.
Now Jodi was sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor. Her dog tracked muddy footprints on the floor, which she didn't approve of. Then, she cleaned out her drawers, and beat the rugs.
All the spring cleaning, had Jodi exhausted. She was glad to get it overwith, because April showers were in the forecast, starting tomorrow, and would be the theme, a good chunk of the week.
"Into each life, some rain must fall," said Jodi.
