Peter's POV

I was having a pretty good day. Aunt May was home when I got up, I finally got a seat on the train, Ned needed help with a new Lego set and Flash wasn't at school. All these events added to my already good mood, making it into a great one. At the moment I was standing outside my apartment building, patiently trying to hail a cab.

The weather wasn't the best and I longed to be inside the Avenger's compound already; I was practically bouncing. I saw a cab coming down the road towards me and waved viciously at it, frowning as It whizzed past. Ring, Ring, Ring...

My phone sounded, alerting me to the incoming call. I read the caller ID. Tony Stark. He was probably wondering where I was.

"Hello, Mr. Stark?" There were a few shouts from the other end of the line and I laughed at the sound of Clint and Natasha arguing over a pizza.

"Hey Pete, where are you?" I was brought back to the conversation

"I'm still at home. I will be there soon though" I answered finally succeeding at waving over a cab.

"Okay, I'll save you some pizza. See you soon kid" I said goodbye and hung up. I swung my backpack off my shoulder and climbed into the back of the taxi, directing the driver on where to go. I looked out the window counting all the dogs I saw as we drove through the streets of Queens. After a while, I snapped out of my dog counting stupor and noticed we were going the opposite direction from Stark Industries Tower. We were heading out of town completely

"Hi Mr. You're going the wrong way" Informing the driver of his mistake didn't seem to do much, he just continued driving in the same direction; full speed.

"I know, Peter Parker" I glanced into the front mirror confused, and found him staring back at me. I was about to ask about what was going on but seemed to choke on my words. Only then did I noticed the gas. It was spilling out of the air conditioning vents and drowning my lungs. I fought to keep my eyelids from drooping; failing miserably. As the darkness overtook me and I fell unconscious, I knew I would definitely be late for dinner.

Tony's POV

When I spoke to Peter he said he would be here soon. That was an hour ago. The team had tried to calm me down but I could tell they were beginning to worry now too.

"Can I investigate now?" I asked simply, looking them each in the eye. They all nodded, Natasha, coming over to help me. Searching up footage of Peter's street, we watched as he climbed into the back of a taxi before it drove off. I pulled the car's plates and asked FRIDAY to look them up

"Sir, I cannot find these plates anywhere on my database. It was an unregistered vehicle" I blinked. Trying Peter's phone it went to voicemail. Shit.

"He's been kidnapped?" Steve asked from beside me on the couch. I mentally facepalmed

"No shit sherlock," Clint said for me. I wracked my brain, thinking about what to do. Only one thing came to mind

"Avengers Assemble!" I shouted

"Hey, that's my line!" Cap said exasperatedly from his place on the couch. I laughed ignoring him as I called my suit.

"Right, split into teams of two. Work from the Tower outward, to the edge of the city if you have to. Just find our kid" I asserted and everyone wisely did what they were told. Peter had somehow wormed his way into the hearts of every single Avenger and if anything happened to him. There would be hell.

Peter's POV

My head's been split in half. I panicked as that thought raced through my mind. I groaned reassuring myself that wasn't possible; if I was still alive. Assuming I was, I tried to lift my eyelids which suddenly felt like lead. Finally winning the battle to open my eyes, I bolted upright, as the events of the current, night? came back to me.

Spinning my aching head around I drank up my surroundings. I was in a bed, covered with a gray strangely soft duvet. The entire wall to my right was a window; resembling the Tower's own structure. Everything else was kinda dull. A white desk sat against the wall in front of me and a dresser stood next to it. My spidey sense made the hairs on my arms stand up, giving me a delayed warning of someone's presence. I snapped my attention in their direction taking up a defensive position as best I could while seated on the, actually quite comfortable, bed.

"Good, you're awake. I was beginning to think my dosage was too strong. But then again you have an enhanced metabolism so I couldn't accura-" A girl who looked to be about my age started ranting I couldn't help but smile at how nervous she seemed. Even though she did just kidnap me.

"Wh- Who are you?" I interrupted deeply confused at what was happening. Last thing I remembered someone gassed me in the back of a taxi. But now, looking at this girl and the small skittish smile on her friendly-looking face, I doubted I was in danger. My spidey senses absence just backing my thought up.

"Oh right, sorry. I'm Shuri and you're SPIDERMAN! I- I mean Peter. Sorry, this is awkward." I tensed when she said I was Spiderman, how did she know? The girl, Shuri. Seemed to sense my discomfort cause she hurried to add more

"I only know cause I've been studying you for like, a year. Umm, that sounds weird. My brother wanted to talk to you so I found out who you were. Can I just say I'm kinda jealous of your AI, Karen? I've been trying to replicate her but haven't been able to get it right..." She trailed off seeing my puzzled look and I took my chance to squeeze a question in

"Where am I exactly? Cause if it's not someplace secure or hidden, the Avengers are going to crash through that door any moment now" I gestured to the closed door next to the desk, Shuri just smirked and I stared at her in utter disbelief. Did she think I was joking? cause I definitely wasn't.

"Don't worry, no one will find you here. You're in Wakanda, you know, Black Panther and Vibraniuim?" My jaw dropped. This was Shuri, princess of Wakanda, King T'Challa's sister. I scrambled to my feet wondering whether or not to bow. In the end, I just stood there awkwardly as she laughed at my discomfort

"What exactly am I doing here, can I ask?" She shrugged, then started walking towards the door

"I don't really know. My brother just said he requested your presence or something?" I followed tentatively. I couldn't help but wonder if I was dreaming; maybe I just got really tired and fell asleep in the back of that taxi and I was actually on my way to Avenger's Tower right now. I sighed knowing it was just false hope.

I followed as Shuri led me down pristine white halls to what looked like the throne room; I guessed. As we walked in Shuri laughed as I gaped at the view of Wakanda through the massive glass window. It was stunning. A high-tech, advanced city, backed with endless rolling green hills with the occasional forest. Shuri coughed, snapping me out of my reverie just in time to see THE King T'Challa himself walk through the entrance doors smiling, at ME. He was backed by two very serious-looking guards who were both giving me uncertain and accusing looks. I gulped.

What have you gotten yourself into this time, Peter?
