"Y/N!" Bennett entered the room, gaining your attention, interrupting you and Xiao.

As you and Xiao turned into Bennett's direction, clearly disappointed but hiding it.
"Y/N!" Bennett called you again as he rushed to your table, stopping in front of you with his hands on the table, breathing heavily,
"What is it...Bennett?" You tried to remember his name, as you were naturally bad at names,
"Are you free?" He breathed out, as Xiao looked away, putting his headphones on, leaning back onto his chair,
"Umm...when?" You weren't sure if your schedule was free since Xiao was filled in for most of the slots,
"Tomorrow, Saturday," Bennett beamed. You thought for a moment, 'Tomorrow...I don't have anything in particular to do...Xiao also has nothing to do tomorrow as well...should I ask him out on a date? Lmao what am I thinking'
"Okay!" You looked up into Bennett's gleaming eyes,
"Wait really, that fast?" he reassured,
"Yes, really!" You confirmed, as he started small dancing out of joy, mouthing a 'Thank you' to Xiao who was beside you, Xiao who just shrugged and started playing music on his headphones since it was silent a moment ago.

Saturday
Your shoes tapped on the pavement as you stood at the bus stop, waiting for the energetic boy to arrive. Your sneakers shone white compared to the dusty grey floor, as your clothes radiated fresh and fun. (a/n: i'm sorry i had to) Your hair was done into a ponytail, overall making you prettier than what you may have thought. The sun warmed the air perfectly, a gentle breeze cooling you down.

A while later, in the distance, you could see the ivory haired boy approach you, running with speed. His fluffy white hoodie hugged his body while his jeans were ripped, completing the 'boyfriend' look. It caught you off guard as you kept staring at him when he ran towards you, you heart beating loudly--
"Hey," he waved,
"Oh, hi," You quickly blinked you eyes multiple times, "Why are my eyes so dry, haha,"
"Are you okay?" Bennett cocked his head to the side,
"I'm okay, let's get on the bus," You thanked the bus for saving you from an awkward situation, rushing in before him. Bennett watched you escape from him, chuckling at your cute behaviour, before stepping on the bus after you.

"So where do you want to go?" Bennett asked from beside you, as you turned your attention to him from the view outside the window,
"You don't have anything planned?" You pouted,
"I do, it's just that if you want to go somewhere you can just tell me,"
"As if you could take me to where I want to go to,"
"And where is that?" Bennett turned his body to you,
"I won't tell you,"
"Whyy?" he whined,
"You really wanna know?" You spoked quieter, as if this was something important,
"Yeah," Bennett mimicked me,
"If there was one place I could choose to go to... that would be to Xiao," You whispered, smiling at the end of the sentence. Bennett frowned to himself, why did it have to be Xiao?
"Can you not talk about others...?" Bennett sulked,
"Why?" You questioned,
"Because I-- actually I won't tell you yet,"
"What? Whyyy?" You complained,
"If you don't talk about others today, I will tell you at the end of the trip," Bennett made a deal,
"Isn't that too easy?" you smiled, "Deal."

After leaving the bus, Bennett dragged you into a mall without telling you where you guys were even heading. You walked past shops, restaurants, clothes, but Bennett didn't stop at any of them. However, you didn't bother to even ask him, since you loved surprises. But then you realised the firm grip on your palms. Holding tightly onto your palms without letting go, Bennett had his eyes focused on the path, walking at an average speed, making sure that you could keep up. You had your focus on him, looking at the way his lips would curve up into a smile when you guys were nearer to the destination.
"We're here--" he glanced at you, before stopping his words, as the both of you shared a lasting look at each other's eyes, before you broke it,
"Wow! It's the arcade!" You tried saving yourself from awkward situation two, running inside the arcade pretending to play a machine.
"You need coins Y/N," Bennett creeped up behind you, you jumped at the sound of his voice,
"Oh really? Oops," You stopped pretending as he went to get some coins for the both of you.

"I'm not playing now!" You whined, losing at almost every game,
"Ah, whyyy," Bennett grabbed your forearm before you could escape again, trying his best to not laugh. You remained silent, looking away, "It's not my fault you suck--Ouch!" Bennett put a hand on his chest, which was previously attacked by your punch. You are fed up now, walking away from the arcade, sitting on a bench, crossing your arms, is it even possible for you to lose every game with him?
Bennett caught up with you, crouching down on his knees, "Y/N... are you mad at me?" he tried to grab your attention, "Wait here," he stood up and walked to one of the claw machines in front of the arcade, inserting the coins that were safe in his hoodie.

No more than three tries, a doll came rolling out of the dispenser, Bennett pulling it out, running back to you with a hopeful smile, holding the doll in front of you.
You looked at him with mixed emotions, you were angry, but why did your heart feel otherwise?

You raised your hand to your chest, feeling your heartbeat the same speed as if you were with Xiao.
