Few days after the rating game

Koneko is seen laying on Y/N's lap fast asleep and the same could be said for Y/N as he snores away, As they were both enjoying their sleep a loud knock on the door woke the sleepy assassin but not Koneko.

Y/N: What the hell, Why can't I just lie in for once.

Y/N said irritated as he got up and answered the door and was mildly surprised o see two people shrouded in white cloaks.

Y/N: How can I help you...?

The two looked up at Y/N and then tried to look behind him, Which he quickly blocked by moving his arms in front of them.

Y/N: Can I help you?

The two looked back up at him.

???: Ah yes, My name Is Irina and her name is Xenovi-

The first girl, Now known as Irina was cut off by the second the one with blue hair.

Xenovia: We would like to hire you.

Y/N looked over to the Blue haired girl and Raised his Brow.

Y/N: What for and How long?

Xenovia: We will need you to assist in a fight soon, we can get you when your needed.

Y/N shook his head then glared at the two.

Y/N: I'M not a dog, Tell where I need to be now or get lost.

He said closing the door.

Irina: Wait! Were looking for a leader class fallen angel and we will need you help!

Y/N: Fine €300 thousand I expect it on my door step after.

Irina looked down as she realized they don't have enough.

Irina: We don't have that money.

Y/N shook his head yet again.

Y/N: Fine, I expect a custom made sword after and don't cheap out because I will know

Irina and Xenovia nodded.

Y/N: Good, Now leave.

And with that he closed the door.

Koneko: Who was that N/N?

Y/N turned around and smiled at the now awake Koneko.

Y/N: Just a new contract Shirone.

Koneko looked curious.

Koneko: How many contracts have you taken?

Y/N: From Humans and Supernatural or just Supernatural?

Koneko: Just supernatural.

Y/N: A few thousand, Where do you think all the stray Fallen, Angel and Devils go?

Koneko: You really have been working haven't you?

She looked down and started shuffling.

Koneko: I know it's selfish of me but why....why didn't you come looking for me?

She started tearing up, Y/N noticed and quickly brought her into a hug.

Y/N: Shirone I didn't know I only found out a bit before I came to Kouh, When they took you everything about you vanished I didn't know where they took you to, I'm not going to leave you again.

Koneko snuggled into him and started crying louder.

Koneko: I..I don't wa-want to be a de-devil anymore but I don't kn-know what to do...

Y/N pets her head and soothes her.

Y/N: You won't have to do anything...I will deal with it ok.

Koneko: Ok, I...I Love you Y/N.

Y/N brought her into a deeper hug.

Y/N: I love you to Shirone and I will do whatever is needed to keep you safe, I'm not ever going to leave again.

(Short but I wasn't really planning on doing one so I did this as a little teaser because I'm almost done Volume 1 of the RWBY books)
