Amber waits until she gets back to her car before she breaks down. She can't drive back to Boston like this. She needs to calm down. She calls Jordan. He doesn't answer, so she calls Andi. She doesn't answer. She thinks maybe Jordan's sleeping so she gets out of her car and heads to his bus.

Amber knocks on Jordan's door. No answer, but she hears some movement towards the back of the bus. So she knocks again, this time a little harder. Hoping he'll wake up and answer the door. Now she can hear someone walking through the bus, thank God, Amber thinks, she really needs one of her Dads right now.

Unfortunately it's not Jordan who answer the door, it's her best friend Andi. And there's no question about what she's doing on her Dad's bus. Andi's, naked, wrapped in a sheet. Hair disheveled, like she just had a marathon fuck. And the look on her face tells Amber everything. Then Jordan's voice, "Babe, who's at the door? Tell them to go away and come back to bed, I'm not done with you yet." Amber doesn't say anything, she just turns and goes.

She runs for her car, but suddenly this pain in her abdomen stops her short, bending her at the waist. Amber grabs her stomach. The pain subsides, but she needs to sit down somewhere. Somewhere safe from running into Joe, Jordan or Andi. So she goes to the one person she knows she can trust, Uncle Jon.

"Amber?"

"Uncle Jon, can I please come in?" Jon takes in her tear streaked face, concerned he reaches for her hand. "Yes, of course, come in. Are you okay? Do I need to call Joe?"

"No! Please, don't call Joe. And before you ask don't call Jordan either. I don't want to see either one of them. Jon, I feel like I'm going crazy, or everyone else has."

Jon smiles a sympathetic smile, "Why do you say that dear?"

"Joe missed our baby appointment today. We've had it scheduled for two months, to find out what we're having. So I drove up here to check on him. I thought something must be wrong for him to miss it and not call me. When I got here, there was another woman on his bus. A very beautiful woman. A woman he's been spending an awful lot of time with."

Jon thinks for a second, "Are you talking about Sam?" Amber nods. "He said you knew he was hanging out with her."

"Yes he told me he was hanging out with Sam. But he failed to tell me Sam was short for Samantha...I'm assuming. He told me Sam's wife had to go home and that Sam was missing her, so they were keeping each other company. Then he got mad at me for not automatically knowing Sam was a woman and a lesbian. Then he called me a spoiled brat and told me to grow the fuck up, that the world doesn't revolve around me."

Jon takes her hand. " I'm so sorry Amber. That really doesn't sound like Joe. I'm sure he didn't mean it."

"To make it worse, I went to talk to Jordan and my best friend answered his door, wrapped in a sheet. How long has that been going on?"

Jon let's go of her hand and stands up, "You want something to drink?"

"Uncle Jon, don't change the subject. How long have they been sleeping together?" Jon sits back down next to her and takes her hand. "Amber listen, anything you tell me will always stay with me. I will keep your secrets until the day I die. I'll do the same for everyone I love. So if you want to know about my brother and your best friend,  you'll have to ask someone else. I'm sorry I'm not getting into the middle of that one. Okay?"

"I should have known better than to ask you. I love you Uncle Jon. I better get on the road. Long drive back to Boston. Have a great show." Amber gets up to leave and Jon wraps her in a big, comforting hug. "I think you should listen to Joe, I don't think he'd cheat on you. Hey what did you find out about the baby? Is it a boy or girl?"

"A boy. I'm having a baby boy."

Amber gets into her car and tries to remember where Sara Beth lives. The pain she felt earlier has come back, it's not as strong as it was before, now it's just a dull throb. Amber feels like there's something wrong, something really wrong.

She finally finds Sara's brownstone. When Amber gets out of the car she feels a warm rush go down her legs. Amber looks down and there's blood all over her shoes. "Oh God, no." Amber grabs her phone and calls Sara's number. "Sara I need you to come downstairs, I'm down here and I need your help." It only takes Sara about fifteen seconds to get to her. "Oh my God Amber, what happened? Where'd all this blood come from?"

Amber's crying, she puts her hands between her legs, to check if that's really where all this blood came from. "Sara, I think I need to go to the hospital. Can you drive me?" Sara takes her arm and helps her around the car to the passenger seat. Then she runs back to the driver's side.

They get to the ER and they almost immediately take Amber back. When Sara starts to go with her, they tell her only family can come back. Amber says, "It's okay, she's my Mom." Amber reaches for Sara's hand. She holds onto her hand until she has to let go to get an IV put in. Sara pulls out her phone, "You want me to call Joe and let him know you're here?"

"No. Don't call Joe or Jordan. I don't want them knowing I'm here. Sara I haven't felt him kick in a really long time. Do you think I'm losing him?"

"No, it's going to be fine. Did you say him? Are you having a boy?"

"Yeah, I found out today."

They run tests and do an exam, they find the heartbeat immediately during ultrasound. A doctor comes in to talk to Amber about what's wrong. "Mrs. McIntyre, you've got what's called a placental abruption. This is where the placenta detaches from the uterine wall before birth. Yours is very small and should correct itself on its own. That will require you to be on bedrest. Most likely until you give birth."

Amber begins crying.
