His Amore

chapter 6

Avery POV

I was waiting for Grayson, Asher was still wrapping his arm around my waist.

I was rubbing his back as I waited patiently. I tried to move my leg but it hurt so I stopped.

"Sorry, it took me long." Grayson apologized as he came back.

"It's okay." I said smiling.

He kneeled down in front of me and started to tend to my injured leg.

"What happened?" He asked me curiously.

"I was walking with Asher to get drinks and then I just tripped over something." I explained.

"Who are you here with? If you don't mind me asking." He said.

"It's okay, I am here with Austin, Asher, daddy and his wife."

"Would you like me to get you to them?" He asked, he was so sweet.

"I can go there myself." I said.

"Okay, but you have to rest for a while. I finished wrapping your leg but it might still hurt."

"Thank you so much, I don't know what I would have done, if it weren't for you." I said trying to show my appreciation.

"You are welcome." He told me smiling and then looked at Asher who was still hugging me from the side,"How old are you?"

"I am four years old." Asher said shyly, he was always shy around new people.

"What's your favorite color? Mine is blue." He said.

"Me too, I like blue, it's so pretty." He said getting out of his shell a little.

"Oh, Avery, we have to start that English project." He reminded me.

"Yeah, I forgot about it." I said sighing, I wasn't one to forget about projects or assignment but I don't know what made me forget.

"We can do it here anytime. We can start tomorrow." He said.

"Yeah, I think I should go now so that my parents and Austin don't get worried." I said as I tried to stand but winced immediately, my leg still hurts, I was also dizzy.

Grayson was by my side helping me stand straight! "You should stay off of it for a while." He said looking at me.

I tried to walk to the door limping with Grayson helping me stand.

Asher was walking beside me silently.

"I will carry you, so you won't have to put pressure on it, okay?" He asked looking at me for consent, when I nodded he picked me up bridal style.

He walled out of the house closing the door behind him with his feet.

When we were near where my parents were sitting, Austin turned around to see Grayson carrying me.

Grayson POV

I was so worried about Avery when I saw her knee cut.

I was carrying her as her leg hurt and I didn't want her to hurt more.

When Austin saw us, his eyes held confusion and a bit of anger narrowing his eyes at me and then I think he saw the bandage that was wrapped around her knee because his eyes held concern.

"Avery!" He called making her dad and mom -I think- come over.

They ran to us and Austin took her gently from me, as soon as he took her from me, her head rested on his shoulder. She was looking at me with her mesmerizing blue innocent eyes.

"what's wrong, Avery? What happened to her?" He asked me looking so worried.

"I was walking when I saw her on the ground, she fell and hurt her knee so I took her to my house and bandaged her knees." I told him.

"How is your leg, Avery? Does it hurt so bad?" Austin asked her frantically.

"I am fine, I promise." I think her dad and mom heard the loud noise of a frantic Austin as they ran towards us.

"What's wrong with Avery?!" Her dad asked worried about her. While her mother was looking at her with worried eyes.

"I am fine, I just fell." She said sighing.

"We can go to the hospital." He said eyeing her worriedly.

"It's okay dad it's just a small bruise, I will be fine." Avery said calming her dad.

"If you are so sure, we can relax for a while and then go home." Her mother said.

"I will leave, now. Hope you get better Avery." I said looking at Avery who was still carried by Austin.

Avery was about to say something before her dad asked me to sit with them fo a while.

We all went to where they were sitting.

Austin placed Avery on the Shezlonge thing so that she could rest her leg. Asher went to sit beside her quietly.

We talked for about an hour before they had to leave.

I went back to my house house to see it empty, my mother was at the hospital right now.

I heard barking coming from behind me, "hey Snow." I said greeting my husky.

He jumped on me making me fall, he kept licking my face happily.

"I missed you too buddy." I said rubbing his head and back.

When he got off me, I went to my room to freshen up.

After I finished I entered my room and rested on my back on the bed looking at the ceiling.

I feel weird when I am around her, I don't know that feeling, I have never felt it before, but I can't feel like that, she has a boyfriend.

I sighed as I let darkness take over and slept.

Sorry for being late but I had my A level exams so I couldn't update.

I know this chapter is short, I am so sorry.
