3RD PERSON:

"So, how much longer?" Katara asked. Aang smiled and held her hand gently. "Not long. I got the judge to talk to us tomorrow." Sokka widened his eyes and spit out his water. Suki pat him on the back as he started choking over it, looking up into the mirror.

"Tomorrow?" Aang nodded, his smile bigger than the moon. "Mhm. Did I do good or what?" Tylee squealed. "Heck yeah, you did!" He smiled and squeezed Katara's hand, who let a small tear fall. "I love you so fucking much."

Before he could respond, the car swerved and almost hit a tree. "Shit, Kat, watch out!" Zuko screamed, grabbing onto the car. "Fuck," she muttered, turning the wheel. Aang whipped his head around. "Everyone alright?"

"Everyone take cover!" Katara screamed, the car moving on its own. Aang didn't take a second to think as he leapt in front of her, protecting her as the bus hit a tree. He felt his back snap a few times and screamed in pain, Katara screaming herself as she saw him hurt.

"Aang!" Pamela screamed, her arms reaching out for him from the back. "Everyone out! It's a bomb!" Toph shouted, opening all the doors and smashing all the windows. Everyone screamed and got out, Aang holding Katara and tripping over himself.

"Mom! Dad!" he screamed. Before he got the chance to move, the bomb exploded and launched everyone away from it. He screamed as he held onto Katara, who was unconscious. He didn't even notice, searching for his parents.

He didn't see them. He screamed in pain as he held onto Katara's limp body in his arms, not realizing all his friends were already pulling out their bending and weapons. He shut his eyes and let out a blood-curling scream.

"NO!"

He looked down and saw Katara unconscious, instantly thinking the worst. Tears flew down his face as he quickly scrambled to find her wrist, feeling his heart snap in half. "Fuck!" he screamed, almost collapsing onto her. He felt her pulse and let out a sigh and a scream as he held her in his arms.

Sokka ran over to him on one foot, rubbing his back as he landed next to him. Katara opened her eyes for a split second, and Aang noticed, giving her a light kiss and shushing her to sleep. He wanted to let her know everything was alright- even though it's not.

🤍

"Is she ok?" Aang asked quickly, seeing the doctor walk into the room. "Are my parents?" She sat down on a chair and looked down at the floor, trying to contain her tears. "I am so, so sorry." He widened his eyes and let the tears fall out. "Your parents didn't make it."

He closed his eyes and tried to stop the pain. His heart was ripping in half. "My parents. My mom. My dad. They're gone." He screamed loudly, his heart ripping in half. Sokka held his hands and attempted to calm him down; but he just kept screaming and crying and fighting.

The doctor choked out a single sob and coughed into her fist, letting her own tears fall down her cheeks. She looked up at Aang, who was screaming and crying his heart out. She stood up and placed her hands on his shoulders, messing with his breathing tubes.

"Aang," she whispered, latting him stabalize, "I need you to calm down. I understand this is hard for you, but they're in a better place." He shook hishead and looked up at the ceiling. "Please, God," he whispered. "Please." She let go of him and harshly turned to fidgit with his breathing tubes, tryingto find the set that would work for the news he was about to recieve.

"And my sister?" Sokka asked, hobbling over to her on his crutches. She shook her head and bit down on her lip. "She's alive. But she's in a coma." Aang screamed again, crying as he felt his heart tear in half. Sokka shook his head and looked up at her with begging eyes.

"You're kidding." She shook her head. "How long?" She shut her eyes and fell to the floor, holding a bottle of painkillers in her hand. "A year at the least." He dropped his crutches and cramped over his stomach, his hands on the cold tile floor as his knees held up his body. "Lord, please save her," he whispered. "Please, Lord."

She got up and threw the painkillers on the table, running to Katara's room to stop herself from crying on the spot. But it didn't work. She was crying by the time she shut the door.

Re-did it! How do you like it? I really love it! It's so much better than what I had before! So? I don't even know. I am going to say this: It's Feburary, and Katara wakes up in April. I have to edit the "3 months" thing in the next chapter lol. So I hope you liked it!

Side note: Azula's still evil. I want a redemption arc in this. Ok?

Side note #2: I'm using my religion. I don't learn about other religions at all, and I really wanted to add mine, so I am. I'm so incredibly sorry if this is insensitive in any way at all, but yea... sorry!

Side note #3: That's why there's no Avatar. If there was, I couldn't make any religions happen- so yeah. No Avatar. But there is bending, so that's still there.

Compliment:You have the prettiest nails!
