(Hey babes! So I kinda spoiled you guys in the last chapter. I know it wasn't that good but half of it was on an airplane with no Wifi so it was the best I could do, I hope you enjoyed it. Second of all, I spoiled you guys way to much. You might not hate me, but you'll dislike me big-time. Or hate me, I don't know. But it's really not that bad I swear. (It's next chap not this one lmao) And I'll always make it up to you, you guys know that. Ok, love you!)
(Saturday, May 29th, 6:00 am xx)AANG'S POV:
I slowly opened my eyes and pat the bed next to me, about to give Katara a kiss on the forehead when I realized that she wasn't on the bed. I sat up and opened my eyes, blinking away the morning fatigue. "Tara?" I whispered, careful not to wake up the other girls and boy in the room. "Tara?"
"In the bathroom," she replied. I got up off the bed and walked to the bathroom, slowly knocking the door and smiling. "Can I come in, my love?" I heard some shuffling around. "Uh... give me a second," she replied. I raised my eyebrow. The water wasn't on. Was she changing?
"Are you changing, love?" I heard some more shuffling. She can't be on the toilet with all this shuffling. "Y-yeah," she said. It was choked. "Tara, what's wrong? Open up," I muttered. I waited a beat or two then heard the door lock click open. I twisted the knob and bolted inside, my heart racing. "What's wrong, my love?"
She shut her eyes and removed her hands from over her waist. I let out a sigh and shook my head. "You were looking in the mirror, weren't you." She nodded and I saw a small tear drop down her cheek. I widened my eyes and quickly gave her a hug. "Oh my Lᴏʀᴅ, Katara, you're kidding me. You're fucking beautiful, love." She smiled and hugged me back, her arms around my back. I shut my eyes and lent my cheek on her head. "Stop this. You know I love you."
She shook her head into my chest as is heard a sniffle. "Hey," I whispered, bringing her eyes up to meet mine, "don't cry. You know I can't take it when you cry." She smiled. "You can't?" I smiled back and shook my head. "I really can't." She looked at me and cocked her head. "Can you tell me what it was like before the crash?"
5 minutes later, we were sitting on our hotel room porch with the door shut so we didn't wake up the others. I held her in my lap because I didn't want to let her go at all- ever. Never ever. So she smiled and let her head rest on my shoulder, looking up at me, making my heart skip a beat. This girl is so fucking amazing, I can't-
"So what were we like?" I thought for a minute. "We weren't like much. I mean, we were in secret, of course, you know that." Then I realized her eyes got dark and serious. "Hey, why didn't you tell me any of this? Why'd you tell me Jet was my boyfriend?" I shut my eyes and tightened my grip on her waist. "Technically, he was."
"He's abusive, that's what he is," she spat. I nodded. "I know he is and I want to kill him for that, but it's a sin, so I can't." She dug her head into my shoulder causing my breath to hitch again. "I love you so much," I whined. I opened my eyes to find her smiling and a small pink coat covering her cheeks. "Why?" I raised my eyebrow. "Why? Do you really want the answer to that?" She nodded. "I do."
"Ok. Well, first of all, your smile. It's the most beautiful smile I've ever seen in my entire life; I could look at it for an eternity and not get tired of it." She blushed and flashed me a smile, which made me blush and peck her forehead. "Secondly, your eyes. Fuck I love those eyes, they're so fucking beautiful and I'll never think otherwise." She smiled at me, which made my heart melt.
"Thirdly, your body. I don't know why you don't love your body, because it's fucking amazing and beautiful and I don't know how you could ever fucking hate it." She blushed and cuddled her face into my neck. Oh Lᴏʀᴅ, what did I do to you?
