Sorry for slow updating. My Grandpa is dead
"Mr. Perlman, can I talk to you?" I ask after we all ate dinner.
He nods. "Of course. Follow me."
We end up in the living room, side by side on their couch.
"I know you know." I whisper.
"What?" He asks, taken back.
"I know you know about last summer." I say a bit more confident.
He looks down and nods.
"How did you know that Mrs. Perlman was the one?" I ask.
"Why? Are you thinking of-"
"Marrying Elio? Yes."
He's taken back for a second once again, but soon relaxes. "It's different for everyone. What makes you think he is your one?"
"I want to spend every breathing moment with him. It's always been him. He is the first person I want to tell my good news to, and he's the only person I want to talk to when something bad happens."
"Tell him that. See if he feels the same way. Stella, after Oliver, I thought it was over for him. But he's better then he was before. I think you have made him his best self." He smiles.
"Thank you." I stand. "He really is my world. I don't know where I would be if he wasn't in my life."
"I know."
"You know everything." I laugh.

I stand on the balcony, soaking up what's left of the sun, just basking in the thought of all the amazing things I have.
A familiar pair of hands wrap around my waist. I lean back into the touch.
"Do you think we will actually get married?" I ask.
He seems taken back, spinning me around to face him. "What?"
"Is it real? The marriage and kids thing?"
"Of course." He grabs my hands. "Of course."
I smile and pull him into a long and loving kiss, hand resting at the base of his neck. "I love you."
He smiles. "I love you too."
"So, when are we telling our parents?"
He sighs. "I don't know. I think we should let them find out on their own."
"They're gonna flip their shit." I kind of laugh.
"That's the point." He smirks.
I roll my eyes with a smile and pull him into me once again, just holding him there as if my life depended on it. And in that moment, it felt like it did.
He grabs the back of my thighs, making me wrap them around his waist. I laugh as he carries me back to his room.
He makes sure to shut the door, before laying me down on my back and flopping down on top of me.
His head rested on my chest and he laid between my legs. I can't help but smile at how absolutely adorable he was.
I run my fingers through his hair and kiss his forehead. "I missed you."
He smiles. "I missed you way more."
I pause. "No way. I stole your shirt."
"I stole your dress and then lied about it." He sits up enough to look me in the eyes.
