Forgotten

What will they say when im gone
Will they think about me for long
Or forget me easily like a song
The melody strong
But the lyrics seem to take way too long
To want to remember

When I finally disappear
Will you shed any tears
Or will you go on with your years
Because I was never in your thoughts in the first place

I will be forgotten
Like a broken toy in your pocket
I shall just fade into the void of existence
The fall so long that there is no need for assistance

I feel nothing, maybe enlightened 
Because It was truly just one-sided
The darkness won't fade
But for you, everything will stay the same
With no piece or fragment of shame

When im too far gone
To be remembered for long 
When the weeds start to grow up my legs
And the webs start to spread

Don't lie to yourself
Don't lie to me
I won't be missed
I won't be pissed
We both know it's true
But lucky for you
You won't know what it feels like to be forgotten.
