Space

I'm alone

Alone on this place called Earth

The plant I lived and thought was my home

Yet I feel like I'm on the milky way

A place far, far away

Where no one can reach

Where I can't leave

And the only thing I have is my mind

I'm broken like a shattered glass vase

All the pieces used to fit faultlessly

But I have no one here to fix me

I'm in space

The only thing that shines is the stars

And my tears flow from my eyes like a stream

Quickly disappearing into nothing

To never be seen again

I float like a cloud

The higher I go the more they forget

Until I'm gone forever

Only the faint memories of me in the back of their heads

I'm lonely

The only one that can hear me

Hear my cries of pain and songs of sorrow

Is me

Even though I wish they could

I'm still alone
