I searched and I searched and I lost you

I loved and I loved and I lost you

I wished and I wished and I lost you

I can not sleep without you

And you found peace, wow

But what about me

I thought we would stay together

Grow old together

But you left me behind

we had plans, we had visions

But now that I look at you

I knew it wasn't true

I knew you weren't mine

Forever you said

All the time

I thought we would stay together

But I guess that was only in my mind
