Seokjin is lying wide awake on his side of the bed with Taehyung's arms locked around his waist and face planted on the crook of his neck. They just finished making love and Taehyung made Seokjin feel that for the first time he mattered. That he is not just a quick fuck, and a random hook-up. Seokjin felt so well taken care of, cherished, and home. Tonight, was the first night that Taehyung kissed him while having sex - aside from that one time that Taehyung got so drunk and kept telling Jin that he is in love with him. it was memorable for him, indeed.

He decided that he will risk one more time for Taehyung because he knows and he is convinced that this time, his feelings will be reciprocated and there will be no more power imbalance between them and now, Jin can finally be himself without hiding on the shadows of his best friend Yoongi.

Without waking Taehyung up, he intertwined their hands. It amazes him how it fits perfectly and how warm and fuzzy this makes him feel. Earlier, he never thought that he will be in this position with Taehyung. That confrontation with Seoyeon broke Seokjin and he is ready to leave and live a life without Taehyung in it, his mind is being clouded with thoughts like, Did Taehyung purposely brought him there just to rub to his face that he will never be enough and that he can find love again, but not on his arms, but to another? Or that all of the things they did and what they had for the past months was just nothing, but a show and Tae is still playing with his heart. All of them were swarming in his head, that he can't think of anything but to leave.

Taehyung begging for him to stay and to hear him out was the last thing that Jin was expecting of him because he is a man with such a great sense of pride, and he will never back down and admit that he was wrong, but here they are.

Recounting the past hours, Seokjin blushed making him hold tighter on Taehyung's hand. He can forgive him again and again because he loves him, but that doesn't mean that he would make it easy for Taehyung too. He will make sure to give him enough suffering to know that Seokjin is not just a cheap man that he can woo just because they fucked. But for now, he will enjoy this moment and when the morning comes, he will still be with Taehyung and he will teach Seoyeon his lesson.

He is not used at being this happy that's why he kept on praying that this will not be just temporary, that when Tae wakes up, he will not treat Seokjin badly like how he did before.

Loving Taehyung made him weak, but also strong at the same time. Despite having that trashy attitude, Seokjin always had a glimpse of his heart whenever he is drunk. Drunk Taehyung always calls for him and always clings to him like a child, no Yoongi just Jin-hyung and a ton of I love yous. He knows that maybe he made his way through his heart finally. Those little things kept him going, waiting, and waiting for the day that Taehyung will finally tell him his thoughts when he is sober like how he did when he is intoxicated.

"Hyung ..." Taehyung grumbled in his sleep. Seokjin grinned at how Taehyung pout while he sleep and pulled Seokjin closer his body. "Mmhm," a sigh of satisfaction left Taehyung's lips when he felt Jin returned the hug.

Seokjin looked at the clock and saw that it's almost midnight. He decided to close his eyes and finally drift off to sleep.

That night, Seokjin dreamt of a life with Taehyung. Moving far away from the city and having a farm of their own, adopting another dog to give Tannie a sibling and adopting four children making the house lively and cheery. With Taehyung saying he loves Seokjin too, maybe this dream can come true.

At four o'clock in the morning, Seokjin was woken up by a knock on their door. Taehyung is still in deep sleep and Seokjin doesn't have the heart to interrupt his slumber. So, he stood up and answered the door.
