Corpse sighed, putting his feet in your lap. "I'm so bored." he groaned, looking out the window. "It's nice out, though." he said.
You nod, looking out at the sky outside. "It is..." you say, before getting an idea.
"I have an idea-" you say, before walking into the hallway and stopping in front of the closet. You opened it, grabbing an old blanket and some old pillows.

You returned to the living room, grabbing Corpse's hand.
"Come on." you said, practically pulling him out of the house and out into the backyard

"What are you doing?" Corpse asked with a laugh, watching you spread the blanket out onto the grass.
"Stargazing." you replied, plopping down onto the blanket, patting the spot next to you.
"Come on." you laugh.

Corpse took the spot next to you, lying his head back onto the pillow and looking up at the stars.
"This is pretty nice." he said, grabbing your hand and watching the stars.
You smile, also lying back and looking up at the sky.
"Told you." you say jokingly.

You two sat in a comfortable silence for a while, before Corpse spoke up. "That's the big dipper right?" he asked, pointing to the constellation.
"Right. and if you look a little lower, there's the little dipper. That one's harder to see, though." you explain. You'd always been a bit of a nerd for astrology.
"And that really bright star on the end of the little dipper? That's the north star. Polaris." you continue, before looking over at Corpse. The way the wind ruffled his curls was so perfect.

Corpse squinted a little, looking at the sky. Looking as if he was trying to really  take in what you were saying. He sighed, a slight smile on his face as he looked up.

"You're so beautiful." you say softly, still studying his features.
Corpse laughed a little, blushing. "Well, I dunno about that." he said, the blush still on his cheeks.
"It's true!" you laugh rolling over on top of him and straddling his waist, your hands on his abdomen. You smile down at him, admiring his face.
Corpse leaned up, his hands on your hips as he connected his lips to yours.
"God..." he sighed out once you two pulled away. "You're so gorgeous." he said, a small smirk on his face.

You chuckle and blush, collapsing on top of him with your face in his neck. "Stop!" you laugh, blushing like crazy. It was adorable how he could still make you blush after being together for so long.
"Never!" Corpse laughed, rolling on top of you and tickling you.
"Mercy!" you laugh, not able to stop laughing because of how much he was tickling you.
"Alright, alright." Corpse chuckled, returning back to his spot and looking back up at the sky.

You watch the stars as well, before seeing a bright streak move across the sky.
"Woah! Did you see it?" you ask. "The shooting star?"
"Yeah." Corpse smiled, chuckling at your excitement.
"What'd you wish for?" you ask, moving over and putting your head on his chest.
"Well, if I tell you it might not come true, now will it?" he laughed, rubbing a hand up and down your back.

"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours." you bribed, looking up at him with puppy dog eyes.
Corpse looked down at you, before sighing. "Fine." he chuckled.
"I wish to marry you someday." he whispered into your ear, those words sending chills down your spine.

You smile widely at his words. "That's what I wished for, too." you whisper, kissing him softly.
"One day, maybe not now... but one day, it'll come true. I promise, baby."
