[Your POV]

I returned to our new home with boxes from our old house. I stacked them up, carrying them inside.

I sat a box on the kitchen table, sighing. This was a long, tiring process, but I was glad we were finally almost able to live in our new home together. Just me, Corpse, and hopefully a few pets.

"Welcome back, baby. Did you get the boxes okay? Where are they, downstairs?" Corpse asked.
"Yeah, I brought some in but there's still a few in the car."
"Alright, I'll go get the rest of them. But first... come here." He laughed, pulling me by the wrist and spinning me around so I could see the apartment.
"What do you think? Should we put the plants here or should we put them in that corner?" he asked, pointing around the room.
"How about both?" I chuckled.
"Hm, I dunno! We could split them up? Put one in each corner?" he suggested.

I groaned.
"Can we deal with this later?"
He chuckled, holding me close, my back against his chest.
"You're right. We can deal with this later. Let's get the boxes moved first and... hey, are you doin' alright?" he asked, looking down at me.
"Baby, you're lookin' a bit pinkish... do you wanna sit down or something?"

"I'm alright."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
"Are you sureeee?" he dragged out making me roll my eyes.
"Yes." I chuckled.

He giggled.
"Alright, come here. You've been working really hard lately and I don't want you to over do it." he explained. I smiled, hugging him tightly.
"I'm fine."
"I know, I know, but sometimes... you know, I'm not gonna name names or anything, but sometimes a particular person that I really love and care for tends to overdo it a bit when they have something they need to do." he laughed.
I chuckled, leaning up and kissing him softly.
"Me?"
"Uh huh, you." he teased.
"I won't overdo it."
"Good. Let's not rush, baby. We can go as fast or as slow as we want."
"I just hate unpacking..."
"Its okay, everything will get unpacked." he laughed. "It's not a race."

I sighed, taking a seat on the couch.
"I'm hungry..." I complained.
"Well.. we can order something in tonight. How would you like that?" he asked.
"A romantic dinner and putting furniture together."
"That's your idea of romantic?" I teased.

"Hey, it can be! Anything can be romantic if you try hard enough. For the most part."

"Not true."
"Well then, allow me the chance to prove you wrong, then." he chuckled.

"So, do you wanna take a breather? Take a little break?" Corpse suggested.
"Meh."
"I think the pillows and blankets are in- this box-" he said, opening the box with a box cutter.

I didn't reply, just looked at him blankly.
"Are you sure you don't wanna take a break?" he laughed a bit.
"Mhm."
"Alright... mkay, well let's move these out of the way then." he said, pushing the boxes aside.
"Jeez, these are pretty heavy. Hey... baby are you okay?"

I didn't reply. I was disassociating. It felt like when you stand up too fast. Everything was moving but almost in slow motion.

"Hey, are you sure you're okay? You look a little... shaky there." he said.
