I relaxed under the covers, no longer feeling the urge to have a mental breakdown, stretching out. I sighed softly, finally starting to really warm up, still getting occasional chills. My head turned towards the door, although my head was covered, as I heard footsteps approach the room, then walk in. I poked my head out from under the covers, giving the brown bear a small smile. He set the mug on the table in between the beds. "Here you are kid, drink up."
I grinned, looking at the cup excitedly. He gave a smile, reaching a paw over to fluff up my hair playfully. I giggled, squirming and then ducking under the covers. I whined playfully, still lightly giggling, "NuUu! StaP!!" He chuckled softly, pulling the blanket down, then grabbing me softly. He sat down, taking me into his lap, continuing to mess with my hair. I squeezed my eyes shut- laughing and wriggling in his lap. "nohohO!"
He chuckled softly, stopping and hugging me with a happy sigh. I nuzzled him, relaxing into his grip. He fixed my hair with a few strokes of his paw, hugging me closer. I hummed happily, he... seemed better!.. But- was he... faking it? I couldn't tell... I didn't know him as well as I thought I did. Scary thoughts began to pop up in my mind, but I pushed them back, keeping my smile strong. I could trust him. I knew I could... I had to!.... I had no one else.
I nuzzled his fur, snuggling with him more. He gently mumbled, "Your cocoa is gonna get cold-" I sat up quickly, "Mm!!" I reached over towards the mug, however, I couldn't quite reach it. Freddy reached over, grabbing it for me and holding it near me. I took it from him with a nod of thanks, sipping it and humming happily. He chuckled lightly, "It's good - huh?" I nodded, "Mhm!!!" I looked up at him with chocolate on my lip.
He chuckled more, wiping my face softly, "I'm glad." He smiled, watching as I took another big sip of the sweet and chocolatey drink. It tasted so good!! I sighed happily through my nose, swallowing the creamy drink and lowering the mug. He laughed, taking the mug, "Wowie- you REALLY liked that huh? You drank a quarter of it already- slow down a bit kid-" He laughed a little more and held it for me so I wouldn't burn my hands.
I giggled, wiping my face with my sleeve, looking up at him with a grin. "I love hot cocoa!" "I can tell-" He chuckled a bit before setting the mug on the bedside table. I cuddled into him, murmuring happily, "thank you Freddy-" He smiled a bit, hugging me while he nuzzled the top of my head softly, "You're welcome kid."
I sighed happily, relaxing into his fur. He was like a huge teddy bear. I wondered how he'd react if I used that as his nickname. Maybe I'd try it later. I smiled, nuzzling his fur briefly. I surprisingly felt... tired. I yawned quietly, relaxing more. "You tired kid...?" He glanced to the side, towards a clock. "It is pretty late, almost 8:30- guess kids go to sleep early huh?" I nodded sleepily, clinging to Freddy as I closed my eyes. He'd sigh softly, "Well then you should get some sleep-..." He picked me up out of his lap, laying me down on the bed and pulling the blankets up to tuck me in.
I looked up to him, reaching out lightly to grab his arm. He responded with a confused "Mm-?" I tugged his arm towards me, trying to get him to stay with me. I-... I didn't want him to leave-! I didn't want to be alone... "S-st-tay-y?" He sighed softly, looking to the door, then back to me. He smiled, stating, "Mm-..fine-.."
He sat back down on the bed, pulling me to lay in his lap. I sighed happily, curling up and closing my eyes with a small smile. "Night Freddy...-" "Night-... B.... Kid." I was too sleepy to really process his unwillingness to say my name, falling asleep quickly and comfortably in his lap.
