Thor, Loki, and I arrive on the grounds of Asgard. The sun shines brightly in the sky, shining brighter here than on earth. "Can we at least let him speak, Thor?" Loki raises his brows, waiting for his brother to unleash his muzzle. "No," Thor speaks lowly, in disappointment. Before we enter the castle, guards chain Loki's legs, and arms, constricting him from any movement.
The doors of the throne room seeming larger than when I left. "Release his mouth," Thor says, and I waste no time taking the muzzle off. "Don't be sad, Beyla." He pinches my cheek with his bound hands, the chains clinking at his movement. The doors open, Thor and I walk in first. "Darlings," Frigga says opening her arms. Thor hugs his mother, as do I. "Such a time. We will get through this one too." She guides me to her side with a strong smile.
As Loki walks up to her he smiles. "Loki." She greets, happy to see her son, but devastated by his destruction.
"Hello, mother. Have I made you proud?" I scoff at his behavior. What a time to get smart. "Please, don't make this worse," Frigga begs. Loki leans to her with a smirk, "Define worse."
A loud booming voice breaks his conversation. "Enough! I will speak to the prisoner alone." I look at Odin confused. "Allfather, I thought-" "Alone, Beyla." Frigga grabs my arm leading me away.

"I really don't see what all the fuss is about." I shrug, standing in front of Odin.
He looks down upon me. "Do you not truly feel the gravity of your crimes? Wherever you go there is war, ruin, and death."
"I went down to Midgard to rule the people of Earth as a benevolent god. Just like you. Just as Beyla was meant to do."
"Her duty is it allows the globe to grow, you've killed her land. We are not gods. We are born, we live, we die. Just as humans do." "Give or take 5000 years."
Odin shakes his head. "All this because Loki desires a throne." I grit my teeth. "It is my birthright." He raises his voice at me, "Your birthright was to die as a child. Cast out onto a frozen rock. If I had not taken you in you would not be here now to hate me."
"If I am for the ax, then for mercy's sake, just swing it. It's not that I don't love our little talks, it's just ... I don't love them."
"Frigga and Beyla are the only reasons you are still alive and you will never see them again. You will spend the rest of your days in the dungeons." My blood runs cold. "And what of Thor? You'll make that witless oaf king while I rot in chains? Shall my wife be his queen as well?" Tears burn the brim of my eyes. "Thor and Beyla must strife to undo the damage you have done. He will bring order to the nine realms and then, yes. He will be king, with Beyla at his side on their thrones." My heart drops. After everything. All the years of trying, sneaking off, telling the truth, loving her every second of my days, she will be taken from me. Given to my brother. "She will refuse." I spit angrily, my teeth grit in such a lock. Odin stares down at me. "She will be Queen. You shall stay a prisoner." "And you think you'd keep her away from me? She has the access to the dungeons."
"Not when she thinks you are dead. In her mind, you will be getting the ax."
"Beyla!" I scream. "Beyla, never believe them! My love, listen to me! I live!" The muzzle is thrown back over my lips, silencing me. The guards shove me out of the room, down the halls, and into the depths of the dungeons. Oh, my Beyla. Will I ever truly have you again?
~
Thor and Frigga stand in front of the Allfather. "The dungeons. He is to be left alone." Frigga lowers her head. "Where is Lady Beyla. She should be here. He is her husband." Odin shakes his head. "She is to believe he is dead. She would only hurt his punishment." Thor agues. "Father, Beyla is the only thing that keeps him from going mad. You truly can't think this right." The golden staff beats on the marble with a loud boom. "To her, he is dead."
Thor travels away to tell Beyla the news. He sees her pacing in her chambers. "Thor, have they sentenced him?" Her eyes hold so much hope. "Beyla." Thor begins, "Loki was sentenced to the ax. He was taken below for a private viewing. I... I'm sorry, Beyla." Her smile drops. "What?" Her eyes flow with tears. She grabs at her chest in pain. Screams in her tears. "NO!" Bees start swarming the chamber. "Beyla!" Thor fights through them, getting stung by many. "You must stop!" He holds her as she screams bloody murder. The entire castle heard it. Loki heard it from his chambers below.
Frigga appears in front of them. The bees chaotically flying around, as she sits next to her. She cries for her daughter in law, this is no way to live. Frigga and Thor hold her steady, letting her sob as she pleases.
