Steve: Hello and welcome to the Steve Austin Podcast, where we raise hell and drink beer, and we never run of of beer. I'm Steve Austin, WWE Hall of Famer, former 6 time WWE champion, and three time Royal Rumble winner. Normally in my podcast, we talk wrestling, WWE, and other stuff. Tonight's guest has put WWE in a chaotic state since the attitude era: Killcode Persona.
Killcode: Hey Steve! Glad to be here. Where's the beer?
Steve: Killcode, we can get to the beer later. I wanna assess the situation with you.
Killcode: Go ahead.
Steve: It's been a couple months since you left WWE. When you left, a severe drop in viewership occurred. How do you feel about that?
Killcode: Well, I don't know. My dream was to make these wrestling shows more exciting to watch. The WWE has been going downhill since the WWE Network. This is good and bad for the company. Bad: if WWE continues down with this path, it won't be just bankrupt, but terminated. Good: They know.
Steve: What?
Killcode: Steve, remember the Monday Night War. Back in the 90's, WWE was going under by its competitor, WCW. WWE had to take abrasive matters to get back on top. They know their situation. They KNOW. At times like these, just realizing the situation is good for business.
Steve: But don't you feel bad for treating such a historic company down like this?
Killcode: I could give a crap about the company. I just wanna give a show to remember.
Steve: So does this mean you'll go to another show? TNA? New Japan? Independent?
Killcode: I don't know. In fact, I doubt any company would want me.
Steve: I highly doubt that. You're a popular rookie with some shock waves. Getting you would be a smart idea.
Killcode: It would, but my loyalty lies in the WWE.
Steve: Will we ever see you again?
Killlcode: You see, that's the thing about this company. Will you ever expect a beer truck spraying the ring? You expect pipebombs, super moves, John Cena turning heel? It's corny to say that in WWE, you'd never expect it, but it's the truth. I may come back. I may not.
Steve: But will you wrestle again?
Killcode: Tell me this: Did I even wrestle?
Steve: Good point. Anyone can hit anyone with a ring bell. Well, if this is the last time we see Killcode Persona, all I can say is I wish you well in your future endeavors.
Killcode: I'd drink to that! Beer me!
