I have to be honest. I was quite upset the Sami decided to take my match, yet also relieved. The pain of wrestling matches are quite real. Limited, restained, but real; however, pain usually brings oppotunity. If Sami had won, he'd be Mr. Money in the Bank. Although, creative team is sticking with Seth. Shame.
Duck, right, right, right. His defenses are failing. Knee. He's open. Uppercut! TKO! TKO! "Nice job." I complimented. He took my hand and pulled me to the mat. I loss my footing and fell to the white ground. Least it's softer than steel.
"Come on! Never trust an opponent. You gotta keep them in their corner!" He's right. When you're a wrestler, there are five things you should account for: Yourself, the audience, your opponent, the referee, and the authority. If you ignore even one group, your career will fall flat.
Sami and I got up. Sami looks at me impressed. "You're an excellent boxer. Striking is good, but your grappling needs work. I did not expect the knee through."
"Hey, WWE will strive on the unexpected." We both decided to get out of the ring. Sami decided to drink his red Gatorade while I drink my vitamin water. "You don't have to drink that. You're not on camera. Advertise that on TV."
"Hey, you don't ask what I drink and I won't ask why you're still wearing that disco mask." I quickly touched my mask repeatedly.
"I hadn't noticed." The disco mask grew on me. I've been wearing for days. Now I know how a luchador feels. The mask makes the man, or at leasts makes the persona. That's why I named myself Persona. "So tell me, why'd you steal my match?"
He took another sip. "Ah... Well... Seth and I had a plan to steal the show. High flyer versus technician. Plus, I had more hype in NXT than what you made last night." As much as I'd like to disagree, he's right. He's been in the wrestling business a lot longer than I have. He would make a better match, yet Seth and I made a deal. I could bitch about Seth and Sami screwing me over, but I'm a better man than that.
"Alright then. Too bad none of us are Mr. Money in the Bank."
"Hey, it's not about winning. It's about Bo-le-"
"Dammit, we went over this!" We both laugh. "You know, there's more than one way to make a breakthrough in this company. We always need more tag teams." Sami looked at me.
"You suggesting we make a tag team?"
"No, I mean we should join the divas division. What do you think I mean?!" Sami quickly rose up and walked toward the garbage to put away the Gatorade.
"Well, I do have tag team experience.." He takes a minute to think about it. "Let's start on NXT."
