"What the hell was that?" Sami was following me to my locker room, obviously ranting toward me for betraying him. "Why'd you sell your soul to the Devil? I thought we were a team! I thought we were friends!" Oh how true those words were. Those words also hurt like being cut by a blade. "I taught you everything you know. I supported you since the beginning! How could you do this to me?" We stopped in the middle of the hallway, next to the door of my locker room.
"The cameras aren't pointed at us. Leave the drama on Raw." He pulls my arm and forces me to look at him. His heart was filled with a sense of confusion and burning anger.
"No. What you did there wasn't planned in the creative team or anyone with that matter. What authority is-" He stares at me blankly. "The Authority? Are they the ones who forced you to turn on me?"
"Nope, this was my decision. I don't need you. I don't need anyone. I've tried so hard just to make people like me. I wanted to be recognized for all the hard work I put in this god damn company."
"What work?! All you ever done was come up with ideas on 'Oh, let's push this guy. He seems to get hype.' You don't know all the hard work I've done. You been here for less than a year. I've been here for much longer! You wanna get recognized? Please. Scum like you are everywhere in this company, but that isn't you! What is this really about?"
I needed to be cold and calculated. Kane has given me a choice before the match was over. He said that if I get rid of Sami Zayn from the WWE main roster, I can have both a superstar contract and freedom of creative control. I can finally have my lifelong dream and pave my own way to history at the same time at Sami's expense. Now, I do not know why Kane would do this to him. Could it be that he was too valuable an asset to NXT? Was there a grudge between Kane and Sami? I don't recall any interaction between The Authority and Sami. In fact, they were close in a positive way.
I bet the reason that Kane went to me was to achieve three things: heated rivalry, new talent, and fan placement. Rivalries in this company were idolized. The more rivalries, the more popular. Plus, this would up the idea of the Staff-superstar initiative. Though the idea is not entirely public, the turn in the fanbase will easily remove the idea from wrestling news. You could kill three birds with that offer. I may sell my soul to the Devil, but the benefit to the company was too great an offer.
Sadly, if I do tell Sami that, the whole idea will come crashing down. All he truely cares about was himself. He'd sell his soul for the same thing. Well, he has with Seth Rollins. If I could drag this rivalry for a good amount of time, the imitative will be easily but slowly introduced.
Seth... Ah yes... Good excuse. "Because you stole my match! It was the only way else to get to the main roster!"
"Wha- What?! That's the whole reason?! We could have done it together! It was your idea to become the greatest tag team together. We-"
"Enough!" I cut him off. "Save it for raw..."

"Welcome everybody to Monday Night Raw!" Micheal Cole announced. "Our NEW WWE World Champion, Seth Rollins, will grace us with his presence along with the Authority: Triple H, Stephanie, and Kane. But right now, Bo Dallas will defend his championship against Chris Jericho!" Flick! The TV goes off. I didn't do that, so I turn around to see who shut it off. It was Seth.
"Welcome to the Authority, Kill-code. You excited to be a part of something bigger?" We were using each other. All of us knows that. I'm not excited, plain and simple. I'm just waiting the next opportunity to betray them. "Come on, don't be tense. I may be a jerk on camera, but that doesn't mean I'm a bad guy in real life. I mean, a lot of good things are going for me. If you work hard, you can be at the same level as I am. Of course, I'd be a Hall of Famer by then." Seth stated with a smile. "Okay, you have free creative control. What do you wanna do tonight?"
