"Alrighty then, we gotta plan on the next title shot. Any suggestions?" Title shots... To be honest, I couldn't care less for title matches.
There are basically 5 titles up for grabs in every pay-per-view: Divas, Unified Tag Team, United States, Intercontinental, and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. All of them were the main focus to the show. If you don't have that title, you are irrelevant.
"Oh! Let's have John Cena have another title shot!" There were some murmurs of agreement. Oh come on! That guy had more than 30 chances to become a champion. I can't deny his passion, but let someone else be the man for once.
John Cena as champion is a safe bet though. He's dedicated to this company and a flexible character. We've tried to let other people be the man, but something always happens. It's up to Vince to make that change. Until then, I guess John will have another shot.
"No, John is too predictable. How about Randy Orton?" Another safe bet. Another dedicated superstar, similar to John's commitment, but more for the tween audience.
"Nah, John Ce-"
"Can we just let John Cena go?" I ask.
"That's a good idea! A career or championship match!" That's not why I meant...
"No! A loser leaves the brand!" A lot more arguing spread across the creative team. It's like this everyday....

As we started to plan for next week's Friday Night Smackdown, we were graced by a surprise visit by Hunter, otherwise known by his wrestling name, Triple H. "Hello ladies and gentlemen. As you know, the staff-superstar effect is still gone through. Due to the bankruptcy, we have two options. One, we cancel Smackdown." Ca-cancel Smackdown?! One of the main shows in WWE?! The second longest weekly episodic television show in history?! No chance. "Or two, the staff-superstar effect will pass on to Smackdown as jobbers."
Many of the creative team was in a state of shock. I forced a smile in agreement. 'Forced' was a keyword. After facing Ryback, I highly doubt I would be jobbed every single week; however, if we cancel Smackdown, that would worsen the budget problems.
"Should any of these options occur, I need you to mask the situation. I don't want the WWE universe depleted due to this problem. That's all." It must be me, but I thought I saw a disturbed and a stinging uncomfortable look on his face as he left. His entire life's work is going downhill. We need to save it.
"Alright, I say we should have a IC title match as our main event. We'll just make a promo for half of the show, and for the other half, NXT matches. You know, hype the mid-cards and use part time jobbers. Problem solved." Oh, like what we do right now? We need to be more smart than safe. Sadly, the team agreed on the idea. Sigh... Have we really fallen this low?

I took a walk on the east coast beach to take a break from WWE Creative team. It's all about teasing and planning rather than creative ideas. The ideas we use has been done multiple times in the past. It's so unfulfilling deciding the fate of the WWE. I'm no puppet master. I wanna make a name for myself. I wanna prove I'm not just a tool. Sigh...
There were sounds of splashing in the ocean nearby. Turning my head, I found a superstar and a diva. They were trying to drown each other. Paige and Seth Rollins? Huh... More up-and-coming superstars... Mr. Money in the Bank and the Divas champion... Shouldn't they be training?
They both looked at me. Paige waved to me. In response, I waved back. To her response, she called to come there. What do they want? I cautiously walked toward them.
Paige greeted me, "Hey there! NXT rookie right?" I nod yes. "Ah... NXT... Good old days... Right, Seth?" He smiled.
"Yeah, it was. I remember when I was a rookie... We kicked ass, didn't we?"
"Well, I was an NXT women's champion..."
"Yeah, and I'm Mr. Money in the Bank." I looked at his right hand holding a gold case. The point of the case that it could be cashed in for any championship at any time.
"Do you really have to carry that thing everywhere?" I asked.
"Hey, when I'm the NEW WWE World champion, you have the right to brag. Maybe someday I'll show you the ropes. Heck, maybe I'll put my contract at stake in a match." Seth joked around.
I grinned. "You're not serious, are you?" His smiled to get bigger.
"Nah, I'm serious. We all know I'm gonna win, but it'll be a good jobbing job." He paused. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you like Ryback. How's your spine?"
Paige punched his arm. "Dude!"
"Just curious."
I reassured him. "It's fine. I'll job for you." An idea struck me. "How about we do this at Smackdown?"
