Chapter 3

Hyunjin walked with Changbin. Its their first time to enter palace again after had been a long time at boarder. They had entered the King's place to face the king and queen personally as soon as his arrival at there.

Hyunjin bowed his body down to respect them and king asked him to raise his body. He can see his dad also at there and his dad just keep  his face in stern. He wonder why his father also at there too.

"How your journey to here, Prince Hyunjin?" Dong wook asked him.

"Its a long journey but I enjoy the scenery.." He said in calm.

"Great.." Dong wook seem satisfied with his answer.

"You must already know that I bestowed you a wedding right? Minister Hwang must inform you already." Dong wook said to him. He nodded his head.

"Minister Hwang asked us to help and clear your name.." Queen Yoo Inna said to him. Hyunjin looked shocked with Queen Yoo Inna's words but he quickly cover his face. Changbin who heard about it also in shocked too.

"And our princess already reached her age to get married...She had been sit alone for a long time.." Dong Wook said.

"You must don't know her, right?" Queen Yoo Inna asked him.

"Mmm.." He don't stay at here and barely know people and which daughters they are actually. He had been travel a lot and he also get married to some woman for help him but all of them had died on the night.

"We choose her as she might be the one who can survive to live with you...and she can be useful to you..." Queen Yoo Inna said.

"Is it she willing to live with me? She not had been force to marry me?" Hyunjin asked. The queen Yoo Inna nodded her head.

"You know..we love you as same like we love our own child as you are my adopted son.. I believe she is the best for you.." Dong Wook said to him. Hyunjin nodded his head.

"I already ask people to clean up your mansion at here.." Queen Yoo Inna told him excitedly.

"I understand, your majesty. But I'm afraid that I will let her suffer to live with me inside this palace." He told them. He don't want to live in the palace. He know about the battle inside the palace too intense. He don't want to involve himself with those things.

"If you want to live at your own mansion outside palace..I don't mind as long as you must be my official minister and help me to rule this kingdom.." Dong wook said as he know Hyunjin don't like to involve in the political things happening inside thte court.

"I appreciate that..but I prefer to serve you at boarder..your majesty.." Hyunjin refused his offer.

"'Mmm..if you said like that..i can grant you another wish..maybe another marriage after her?" Dong wook asked him. Hyunjin know they try to made a political relationship by bestowed his another marriage. He quite useful to them as he had been quite well-known to other kingdom.

"You can take concubine after married to her.." The queen  Yoo Inna suggested to him.

"It's only one wife for me.. I will travel a lot and its hard to maintain my household later..I can't stand with people..you know about it.." He refused again. Dong Wook sighed.

"If you said like that..we will follow you.." Dong Wook said after that.

"Thank you for your consideration..I really appreciate on your concern about myself." Hyunjin said.

"No need to thanks us..we want give the best for you.." Dong wook said. Hyunjin nodded his head.

"How the preparation, Prime Minister Hwang? Everything had been arranged?" Dong wook asked him this time.

"Yes..my servants already help to clean up his mansion to welcome my daughter in law.." The man said.

"You will become a family to my brother..he quite protective toward her and hope nothing happens to her.." Dong Wook gave a double meaning to him.

"I will make sure the wedding will happen in smooth..and no one will interrupt them.."

"I trust you on this.." Dong Wook said. The Prime Minister Kim nodded his head. Dong Wook asked them to join his evening teas with Queen Yoo Inna. They had chatted for a while and Dong Wook had a lot of questions to asked Hyunjin regarding to what happened in boarder.

There is a woman who sat near to the lake while fanning herself using an embroidered fan. Someone came and joined her seat at there. The maid stay away for them.

"When you come to capital, Seungeun?" She asked the young lady in front her.

"I came in last Monday.."

"Why you don't come greet me when you arrive, Seungeun?"

"I need a rest..its a long journey..and my father asked me to get prepared for crown princess selections.." She said while looked to the old woman's face.

"Minister Kim do a right thing.. You need to be select in quick before she get married.." She said.

"Who are you refer too?" Seungeun asked her.

"Huh...who else? That demolished princess! When i got news..its really getting my nerves! How can she step again to the palace" Suddenly, she became mad when touch issue about her.

"Who she get married to? Don't she supposed to move a remote area?" Seungeun asked while scrunched her forehead. She don't heard about that princess for a long time already.

"It's king order..he want she get married to his adopted son. The curse prince." Seungeun's face change after she heard about whom that princess supposed to get married to.

"Is he accept the marriage.." She asked in lower voice.

"Huh..of course he accepted it as he want to stopped the rumor about he killed all his wives.."

"Mmm..when the marriage will be held on?"

"I don't know.. they not let me involved at all.." She tell her frustration.

"You will let her married to him? If she married to her, she will become more powerful as her future husband is king's favorite person.." Seungeun asked her.

"Huh..of course i will not let her have a chance..she will die like all of his wives.."

"Mmm..what your plan, grandmother?"

"You will wait and see.." She smirked as she had something already in her head.

"Will you hurt both of them or only her?"

"Why you worry? Dont you tell me that you have a heart for that curse prince.." Queen dowager warned her.

"No..Im not. We rarely talk to each other."

"If like that, I feel relieved..You should focus to get crown prince's heart now. Its the only way to let our clan in safe place." She said while looked to her.

"Mmmm..but crown prince don't bother to see other girl beside her." She told.

"I will settle about it."

"What you want do? Why I feel you will do a bad things again?" Seungeun said.

"Why you ask a lot of questions? Just follow everything that i instruct you and what your father arrange!" The queen dowager scold her. She in silent. She need to do everything what her family plans for her.
