Full Moon 🌕 (LCY x HH)

Chapter 4

Chaeyeon come out from her room. The girl who tied her hair in two bun on the  head was coming to her and then greet her. Chaeyeon nodded her head. She looked to the sky. The moonlight is bright today. she smiled and then she walked out from the yard. The girl followed her from behind.

"Are sure, young lady? You want to go to bamboo forest today?" The girl asked while looked. Chaeyeon stopped her walk and then turned her body around. She looked to her.

"Its full moon tonight.. you can go back. I will be alone..you don't need to follow me." She said.

"But.."

"Nothing will happen to me.."

"I will wait at here." The maid said in worried. She still want to accompany her eventhough she felt afraid to be alone inside the forest.

"Yuri..better you go back to our mansion and lock your door. Its full moon, every monsters will come out later.." Chaeyeon deliberately said like that. She want to make Yuri became afraid. Yuri who heard that became shaky in hands.

"Go now.," Chaeyeon said in stern. She ran away and quickly ran to her mansion. Chaeyeon smiled slowly as her maid become cute like that.

She walked to forest while hold bamboo flute on her hands. She keep walking and then she arrived to the river. She sat at the stone and look to the reflection of moon inside the river.

"It seem tonight the moonlight is brighter than usual.." She said. She took off her hat and veil and then she start playing a flute. The sound that come out from her flute made the night become more peaceful. She stopped play as she heard something come near. She wear her veil back and her hat.

"Why are you here?" She asked as she heard the step came near to her.

"Its full moon..its time for me to find a victim." He said in rough voice while come closer.

"You know who you talk with now?" She asked in displeased as he had disturbed her time to being alone.

"I don't know.." The man's voice sound cocky.

"If I want to kill you..i will kill you by pull your heart out." She said while standing in front of him in blink. He startled to see her in close.

"You..you...." He startled.

"How dare you to disturb me?" She growled toward him.

"I.. I.."

"If you want to stay alive..you go from here quickly and do not turning back. If not, its not you got a victim.. but its me who will turn you to my victim.." Chaeyeon said in stern. The man quickly go run from there. He did like as she said.

'Ruin my mood..' She said while looked to the sky. The moon had been covered by cloud. 'Its time for food hunting..' She said while collecting her flute on the ground. She walked from there. She really lost her mood because of that man's presence.

The sound of horses step can be heard on the dirt road. There are Hyunjin and Changbin who rides a horses. Suddenly, Hyunjin stopped his horse near to the forest. Changbin also stopped and looked around. The night breeze blew and cause some leaves fall to the ground.

"Why you stop, Hyunjin?" Changbin asked. Hyunjin came down from his house.

"Changbin ..do you hear that?" Hyunjin asked while looked to him.

"What?"

"Sound of flute.." Hyunjin said while follow the sound of flute. Changbin bite his lips.

"I don't hear anything and no one will go to forest at this time, your highness." Changbin said. He changed the way he called Hyunjin. Hyunjin bite his lips this time as Changbin's words make sense.

"We should continue our journey..to go back to your mansion" Changbin said who still on his horse. Hyunjin ignored him and he kept walk followed the sound of flutes and suddenly it stopped.

"It near to the river." He muttered alone.

"Your highness, can we just go back.." Changbin changed his call as Hyunjin keep want to follow the sound of flute. He can't hear anything sound of flute.

"Mmm..you can go back first. I need to figure out where is coming from.." Hyunjin said while walked entered the forest. Changbin coming down from his horse. Changbin scratch his head and he still follow him to go inside the forest.

"What if there is a monsters inside there, Hyunjin?" Changbin asked in afraid.

"Nonsense.."

"Its true..a lot of people said about there is a monster who find a victim and suck their blood out..and they target a bachelor like us.." Changbin said while chased his steps.

"What a monster? I don't believe it..but who could be here at this time.." Hyunjin said to him.

"Why you still want to enter as you already know there is no one could be here.." Changbin was whining about Hyunjin's mind which is too curious about that sound of flute.

"Can you be quiet for a while? I need to listen again where it comes from.."

" Only you heard a sound of flute..don't you feel weird? Is that monsters or ghost targeting you now?" Changbin said while looked around. Hyunjin stopped his walk.

"It stop already.." Hyunjin said.

"What stop?"

"That sound.."

"Can we just go back now?" Changbin pulled his sleeves as two of them already far from their horse now. Hyunjin shool his head as he don't expect Changbin who brave in the battlefield can be a coward like this.

"How you can be a general?" Hyunjin scoffed.

"Its not same..right now.." Changbin came near to him.

"What not same? Its a same forest like other forest that we came sit and have a rest before continuing our journey.."

"You said you heard a sound of flute..im afraid what if virgin ghost around here or that monsters..and want to find a victim?" Changbin said to him.

"Is it ghost can play a flute, Changbin?"

"Mmm..I don't feel ease at all for you to follow that sound.." Changbin told.

"Its just your feelings..we already travel and go a lot of forest..why you turn to coward at here?" Hyunjin said to him.

"I.."

"Its full moon tonight.." Hyunjin said suddenly while looked to the sky. Changbin suddenly feel goosebumps. He come near to him. He start to felt afraid.

"I should tell your subordinate about you.."

"You don't afraid with ghost?"

"What should be afraid of? they can't harm us..and why need to be afraid with them.." Hyunjin said while move to front. He want continue where the sound come from. Suddenly, they listen a loud sound came to them. Changbin already shaky in his legs.

"I..i.." suddenly something come out from the bush. Changbin turned his body around and quickly ran from there and leave Hyunjin alone at there. Hyunjin hold his laughter as its only a rabbit come out from there.

"What a funny guy..how he could be afraid with this cute things.." He said. He want to bent his body down as he want to pick up the rabbit up.

Suddenly, there is a chilly feeling linger around himself. He felt something at his back. He want to turn his body around to look what is it but.. suddenly, he felt a sharp things at his neck. His feel his legs became weak and then he fall to the ground in quick. And his world became dark and don't know what happened next.
