Chapter 3: I'm scared, please help me.

Christopher's POV

After all those ridiculous actions; my uncle stepped out and when I looked at Alexa she was really frightened because of my uncle's appearance.

My uncle has a magnificent and huge feathered wings, a very tall and shiny crown, a long beard and mustache, a heavenly and dark colored robe, and of course bright golden eyes. Plus he's very tall and could even be compared to giants.

Alexa was really scared so she ran to me, hugged my arm and said in a very soft and quiet way "I'm scared, please help me." from the moment she told me that my heart thumped so loud and fast that I can't barely breathe, it was the first time that I heard someone so gentle and pure asking me to help her, so in return I told her "Don't be afraid, he is a very nice guy he won't hurt you and I'm here."

With a confused look Alexa took her arms off of me and asked, "I don't understand! How do you know these creatures? Are you one of them?"

After that I answered her in a gentle way, "Alexa I'm not a human like you, I am a mythycos and I am considered to be very powerful."

A few seconds passed by and she was still confused so she curiously asked, "How come you look like me? And all of these aren't even real! Now I know I must have been dreaming again, and well I'll just try to wake up."

Without a moment away Alexa tried to wake up from the oddness that was happening, but of course she didn't wake up and just remained on her position so she asked again, "Why am I not waking up? Am I dead?"

I grinned when I heard her asked those words, so in return I told her something, "If you're dead then why are you still breathing? And if you're dreaming then should you dream about this I mean the dream catchers select human dreams very carefully to hide our identities, now the question is how did you come here and why are you here?"

She was quiet for a while realizing that what I have said was true, so she told us how she came here, "It was really weird, I was just crying because my dog died and then suddenly I saw this magical portal that shone so brightly so I went in it, then after that I saw you, and thought that you were a human."

After that I answered her back to get the real answer I was looking for, "Then tell me where the portal that you saw was located and why did you tried to escape me a while ago?"

She answered me in a decent manner, "Well your highness, I saw the portal right at the statue of my great-great grandfather who is the founder of my school, which is Johnsons High, and for your own information I wasn't escaping you, instead I was ignoring you because you were truly a bothersome."

Many fairies laughed and giggled after what she said about me, so I tried to answer her back, but my uncle stopped me and he said, "Okay, kids stop fighting and come join me for dinner, so that we could talk about all the stuffs that we need to talk about." We both nodded and agreed with my uncle's decision.

My uncle snapped his fingers and has brought us to his castle. He also changed his looks into a man who's in his 20's.

My uncle has the abilities to teleport wherever he wants and change his looks. He could even change into a child, but he says that he's much more comfortable with his 20's look. He only does his intimidating look when there's a visitor, but since it was only Alexa and I he chose his most comfortable look.

The fairy king is really a wonder to everyone. His powers and magic must not be underestimated, for no one really knows the extent of what he could do.

Currently, we're at the dining area and dinner is being served, but seeing Alexa's reaction, she looks cautious of the food, so to gain her trust I whispered to her something, "Alexa, try this it's absolutely delicious, don't worry this is safe to eat."

Alexa nodded and tasted the food and gladly she loved it and ate a lot.

Time passed by and while we were eating I asked my uncle, "Uncle, is it possible for humans to enter this world? I mean it's truly impossible even the king has not yet accepted humans to come here."

My uncle has been like a father to me, so he answered me in a father-like way, "Well son, there are things that can't be explained in this world, but I'm sure that there is a specific reason why this world brought her here. Oh, by the way I'm truly sorry for what happened to your mother."

After he mentioned my mother everyone was silenced, but good thing Alexa changed the topic and asked my uncle why his kingdom looked odd in the outside, and my uncle answered, "Oh my child, this kingdom may look abandoned outside, but it's truly powerful, and no one could ever underestimate it, for it does a lot of wonders.

Dinner passed by, and my uncle told me to escort Alexa to his guest room, and I gladly accepted his request, so Alexa and I walked through his halls, and unexpectedly she asked a question out of the blue, "So your mother passed away huh?"

At first, I was quiet, but then she spoke again, "It's fine if you won't answer. I know what it feels like to lose someone you love because it hurts. My mom passed away when I was a baby, so I never got the chance to feel a mother's love."

After she said that, we stopped walking, and I hugged her making my tears drop so fast that I wanted to cry to her all night long. I thought she would not hug me back and push me away, but instead, she accepted who I am and patted me like she doesn't even care about what I am.

I should not have judged her a while ago, I thought that she was a brat and a selfish girl that would want everything to go her way, but the truth is she is different, for she's a kind and soft-hearted person that would not be rude to a person in need of comfort.

After hugging me, she whispered to me something, "You know what? I thought you were difficult and rough all over, but you are not. You're just somebody that needs love and affection just like me."

After what she said, she smiled at me, and that made my heart stopped, yet my eyes just stared at her with no expression at all.

Wake up was the first thing that I told myself next to that was I can't fall in love with a human, so after waking myself up, I escorted her into her room, thanked her, and told her that if she needs anything, I would be in the other room, after that she nodded and smiled.
