Christopher's POV
"The Queen is dead!!!" someone yelled. I couldn't bear to hear it anymore, so I ran not caring about anyone.
My mother is dead. She is dead and I never got to say goodbye.
"Where is she?" I asked the maids.
"Your majesty, the king doesn't allow anyone to see her." the maid eagerly said.
"YOU KNOW THAT I COULD KILL YOU IN JUST A BLINK OF AN EYE, AND YET HERE YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT I COULDN'T SEE MY MOTHER IN HER DEATH BED?!" I madly yelled at her.
"Y-you know the rules, your majesty. The king doesn't wish of you or anyone to go near her." the kingdom's royal guard stated with fear.
"She is dead for goodness sake! My mother is dead and here you are telling me that I couldn't see her." I said with fury.
Silence filled the area.
"Tsk. Tsk. You never learn now do you?"
Hearing that voice made me more furious than I've ever been.
"And how about you? Don't you know how to keep promises?" I coldly asked.
"YOU DISRESPECTFUL PRINCE! What did I tell you? You can't see her. NO ONE CAN!" The king coldly declared.
I backed away. I didn't mind anybody. I just can't bear this.
"Guards! Get him!" The king furiously commanded.
I need to escape, it's the only way.
The guards were off to get me. I didn't care about how near they are right now, all I have to do is to think of a way to loose them.
Where? Where must I go?
There's no choice I have to go to the place where no one else would dare to go. I have to go to the borders between worlds.
I didn't mind of anything. I didn't mind of risking my life. All I knew is that I just need to escape this harsh reality.
After running some time, I looked back and saw that no one is following me, so I decided to stop near the borders between worlds.
I sat down on the midnight blue grass, and looked upwards where millions and millions of galaxies would be found.
Closing my eyes, I felt restless and weak.
My mother is dead.
That's impossible, she's strong th-that isn't possible.
Mother, why?
The rustling of the grass calmed me down, but the pain that I bear is too much.
As I was mourning, I heard someone entering the border.
That's impossible! No one can enter the borders between worlds, especially our world.
And no one could even bother be near the borders just like what I'm doing right now.
Only I could be near the borders, only I could bear it.
I waited in a fighting stance for the creature to come out, but then I was shocked at the revelation of what the creature is. It's a human girl.
And the human girl is my beloved.
A beloved is someone similar to a mate. A beloved completes the soul of another. A beloved only happens once in a creature's life, and in my case it only happens once in an eternity.
I've been living in this world for so many decades now, and in my 2100 years of existence I have only found my beloved now.
Though I still can't believe that she's a human!
Humans must not know about us, so it's a surprise that destiny has put us in this circumstance.
She didn't move a bit but just stared at me like I was a lonely cat that needed love and affection.
The girl had a beautiful dark violet eyes and a long curled dark brown hair with lips as red as rose and skin that's fair. She is the most beautiful creature that I have ever laid my eyes on.
Looking at her facial expression she was anxious and scared, plus tears were falling from her eyes.
I wonder what happened to her?
"Who are you, and how did you come here?" I asked. It was weird enough for a human to have passed the borders of the mythical world, also known as the most frightening and strict borders of the entire universe, where no intruder may ever pass them.
"Why don't you know me? Everyone knows me!" she rudely stated.
I was shocked with what the girl said no one has ever talked to me in that way, for I am the most feared prince in the mythical world.
"You ungrateful being! Must you show your respects to me? I am Prince Christopher Beckham and many creatures bow before me!" I yelled at her. Isn't she my beloved? How could she speak towards me like that?
She was furious but still looked in a calm way so she answered back, "So you truly are a prince then? Well you have no match for me for I am the daughter of the famous business tycoon Evans of Serene enterprise. Our business is known to be the most successful among all the other businesses in the whole wide world. So to formally introduce myself my name is Alexandra Sereen and you can call me Alexa since you are the very first living thing that I saw in this strange place." This girl shows no respect at all! How ANNOYING!!!
An unexpected thing happened she walked away from me and wondered around not knowing she's not in the human world. If my father hears about a human here in the mythical world I'm sure he would do anything to eliminate this girl. And I can't let that happen, after all she is my beloved.
I followed Alexa and made sure that there are no guards around.
"Why are you following me?" Alexa irritatedly asked.
"You don't know this place like I do." I answered.
"Of course, I know what I'm doing."
"Right." I mumbled.
"You know I heard that right?" She said with an annoyed look.
"Why of course, My Lady." I answered while doing a formal bow.
"Ughh!" Alexa walked faster to avoid me.
Hmmm.. Who knew getting my beloved annoyed is fun?
Things are surely getting interesting...
