Summary:

The boy looks drugged, caught between a man who's almost twice his size and a girl who looks like she wouldn't even break a sweat snapping him in half despite her small stature, eyes closed and mouth open as he pants, arching up between them almost as if he's trying to escape.

Normally, Harry would ignore it and continue on his search for someone to drink from, someone who wouldn't mind his sharp teeth and rough hands. He's seen plenty of boys like this one, ones who picked the wrong playmates, and if he stopped to rescue every single one of them he would have died from thirst a long time ago.

This one, though. There's something about this one, the sheen of his bright blue eyes as he blinks slowly, looks around as though he doesn't know where he is, the weakness of his hands as he tries to push the girl off of him and make his escape.

What I think:

If the title didn't give you a clue, there's the summary. And if you didn't get an idea still....well let me tell you, because that's literally my job here. It's a vampire au, more like a mythical creatures au.

The most important thing that I have to say about this book is that it's NOT like any other vampire story that you may have read or seen. I thought I got an idea from the summary and oh my goodness, was I wrong.

It's a good thing that it's not too long, because you can't put it down once you start it. It's also completed with a happy ending.

Another plus point is that it's not too complicated. Atleast for me, I start to lose interest if there's new creatures and their new rules to understand in every other paragraph of a story.

The characters are intriguing. It's quite hot and a bit cute, it's the good kind of angsty. Give it a read if you want.
