What I think:

This is a one shot with a mafia au. It's completed with a happy ending. I like everything about it right from the title.

It's a slow burn, it's hot, it has suspense, it gets sweet. Lou's relations with his siblings made me emotional.

The characters are so well-written, there's so much to unpack even if it's a one shot and it doesn't get boring even once. In fact it's unexpectedly sweet for a crime lord au.

There's a prequel to this story, you will find the link in the beginning of this story itself. It's called Sugar Cube. You'll find it when you look for this one.

But, I would suggest reading this sequel before that one. It's more fun that way, you'll get a nice surprise. You won't have any problem understanding the plot, I promise.

So that's why I'm not writing a separate review for that one, because that way I would give a spoiler. And you guys don't deserve that!

It's the right kind of long, the right kind of angsty and very entertaining with small twists here and there. Give it a read if you want.
