Summary:
As a B&B owner of the most remote of all British Isles, Louis Tomlinson is used to spending the coldest half of the year in complete isolation, with his dog and the sea as sole companions. Until, one day, a mysterious stranger on a quest to rebuild himself rents a room for the winter.
What I think:
This is probably one that most of you have either read before or atleast heard about before. But I am so in love with it, I can't not post about it.
It's completed and has a happy ending.
I will say this is one of the elite Larry stories. It's very unpretentious, very unhurried and just pure. It doesn't have any smut, but again, the tension is so well-built, you won't miss it. The main characters are Harry and Louis and importantly, Clifford. Lou's character is so damn lovable, I can't stress enough.
There's a slow burn, some slight angst here and there, but it's mainly very sweet. I am in love with the book. It's the kind of story that makes you want to go there.
You need to have an account on ao3 to read it. People post it here all the time and it's taken down right after, because the author is very particular about the story being published or translated without their permission, rightfully so.
In my honest opinion, you can wait till you open an account on ao3, there's no hassle to it, except for waiting for a week at the most. This way you respect the author, as you should, I think. You can always read some other stories till then! :)
The book itself is definitely worth it, I promise. You'll enjoy it, I believe, so give it a read if you want.
