You ever get this feeling deep down? It's like flames, and it's burning your insides. Looking into this woman's eyes is like that.

"You.. chose my daughter.. out of every girl in that school.. You chose her, when you knew nothin about her?" She's pacing in front of me as I sit on their couch.

"Yes ma'am."

"Why? That's what I wanna know? Why you're students.." Her mean eyes hit me.

"Old relationships.."

"Old relationships? You don't know what to tell me, huh? You just wanna fuck teens?!"

"No ma'am. Well- yes ma'am. At first, but then I met your daughter and then.."

Sadie comes to mind and it's like what the hell was I thinking?

"Sophie. Is beautiful and she's amazing and she's generous, and she's shy, and she never knew how beautiful she was until I came along and ma'am ; I know it's hard to know that you're daughter is with her teacher but I promise you, I wouldn't ever push anything on her.."

"Really now?"

"Yes.." I nod.

"Okay.." She still paces.

"This is what I'm going to do.." She says.

"I'm not going to call the police," I relax and I feel like all my worries are gone, "but if you come around my daughter then you best believe your ass will be behind bars."

I feel something break inside of me.

"Ma'am. Sophie wouldn't-"

"Honey, it's not what she wants it's what's best! Now, this is what's going to happen. You can either go end this with her right now, let her down easy and say that you can't do it.. don't say anything about me threatening you, I just got her back and I don't want her to hate me.. or you could say good bye to your whole future.."

That's when I feel trapped. Like I'm in a cage.
