She didn't need an x-ray to see the cracks inside of us, most loving people don't really;

but the thing that made her so special, was the lightning that came from her fingertips.

The electricity surged through everything she touched. This surge, unlike most shocks was laced with dopamine, and laughter and dancing until your feet blistered.

The light that came from it was a teddy bear nature, a calming mint tea and the soul of something better than here, something far more ethereal.

Cass was the child of the cosmos, she belonged to the stars;

and even though they weep
for her fast return,
she still wanders through the night,
bringing light to
everything she touches.

There is no one quite like her.
