Chapter 14

The next morning I woke up and had my grandmothers on each side of me. I squirmed out of the bed and found my grandfathers on the fold out couch. I started making coffee and frying some bacon when everyone started to stir. My grandmothers shoed me out of the kitchen and took over making breakfast.  There was a knocked on the door and I opened it. It was Darren and Giovanni. "Come on in. Not surprised to see you Gio, but am surprised to see you Darren. We are making breakfast. Come on in and join us."

Darren replied, "I am the tracker assigned to you from the pack. We thought we would come up and ask if you wanted to hit the diner for breakfast, but instead we get a home cooked meal."

Grandpa Xavier growled, "we will take over breakfast. You all go get dressed. It isn't appropriate to have non mates see you ladies in your pajamas."

"Grandpa, in the short time I have been a wolf I have seen more nakedness when going from wolf to human. Though most have clothes to put on. I am just wearing a tshirt and shorts.

He growled and took the spatula and my grandmas and I went and got dressed. We came out and one grandpa was flipping pancakes. The other scrambling eggs. They had the guys cutting up fruit.  There was another knock and I went to answer it. It was Xavier and Xander. "Come on in. We are making breakfast before we head over to meet everyone at the circle."

Darren growled when I let the twins in. I gave him an odd look. "Now listen here. This is my place and you men will all stop growling at whom I let in. It is not as though I jump every guy I see. Hell, I am still a virgin but if I want to jump someone I will. I haven't even had a real boyfriend yet just a pretend one. When I want someone to come into my house and to screw their brains out it will be my choice."

Grandma Zurica giggle and said, "way to go girl."

Grandma Alena said, "a lady does not talk that way."

Grandpa Daniel said, "Don't encourage her Zurica. I don't want to put a spell on one of these boys."

Grandpa Xavier crossed his arms and growled.

I just rolled my eyes at everyone. "Let's just eat. I am sorry guys for their rude behavior."

We were half way through breakfast when there was another knock. This time grandpa Xavier answered and it was Ma, Pa and Angela. Grandpa started making more pancakes and they joined us for breakfast. "We just wanted to see you before you headed out." Ma looked at the guys and said, "you keep her safe or you will answer to me."

Then when breakfast was over I kissed and hugged them all goodbye. Ma handed us all satchels. "Place you clothes in this when you transform. This is easy to carry and keeps your clothes from being dusty from tying around your paw."

We then walked to the edge of town and went into the woods. Darren whispered don't change. He lead us down another trail that headed away from the lake. "We have picked up a tail. It is Bug, Tim and Cal whom are part of Lyle's followers. I have linked the Alpha and he is sending some warriors to intercept them."

Gio said, "that Bug guy been trailing us for a couple weeks."

As we were walking we heard a fight start behind us. Then the warriors linked us, "it's all clear." Then we shifted and headed to the lake.

We got there about 6:15 and Alpha Jerome  was waiting outside, "heard you guys already had a little excitement. Now change, get dressed and come inside. I want to introduce you all to the king and other alphas."

I saw Gio heading toward a screened off area. Darren pointed to another screen area. "That is the girl's changing area. When mixed in other packs it is proper etiquette to change in private." He then turned and followed Gio and the twins. I then went into where he pointed and changed. Then came out. The guys were waiting for me. We walked in together.
