Beta Mikel steps to the front carrying an ancient knife and cup. Delta Zander walks up carrying an alter that is about 2x2 feet by 4 feet tall. He sets it on the stage and exits. Beta Mikel sets the knife and cup down. As Alpha Shane stated we have a young hybrid amongst us, Jean Rice. When we met this beautiful and unique young woman the alpha, delta and I could feel her wolf. We knew she is ready to come out. If left on her own could come out feral if no pack was there to help. This discovery was made by Elder Alpha Anthony Silva from the Green Valley Pack when he was traveling. We were the closest pack and he called upon our aid."
Beta Mikel look out across the pack and then turned toward the elder, "Elder Silva will you please step beside me." Elder Silva look me in the eye and smiles. He squeezes my hand. Then turns to walk up to Beta Mikel.
Mikel looks out over the pack, "Today we are taking your discovery and adding her to our pack. Never in any of our lifetimes have we in this pack had a unique situation like this. We went to our history book and found one case similar. We ask ask her founder if you wish to be one of her mentors?"
Elder Silva smiled, "it would be my honor."
Mikel smiled, "this will be a very unique opportunity because it would mean she would have co-membership to both of our packs. Before you ask we already contacted your son and he said, "I trust my dad and if he agrees to this responsibility we will accept her." Once again knowing this added information do you accept her being her mentor and pack member?"
Elder Silva looks over toward me and looks into my eyes, "I pledge to be the best damn mentor and am honored to accept her a member of Green Valley Pack."
My heart jumps with this. Then a voice in my head says, "we accept." My eyes get big and I realized I just heard my wolf for the first time.
Mikel picks up the knife and slits Elder Silva's palm. His blood runs into the bowel until his palm heals itself. "Now go stand in front of this rock next to Delta Zander." He walks off the rock and proudly stands by him.
Mikel sets the knife back down, "Today we are making history. We are welcoming a hybrid as you know. Our pack for hundreds of years have been friends with Cedar Grove Coven. Will Priestess Charlene please step up." She walks over and stand beside Mikel.
"Priestess Charlene as a dear friend of our pack we want to ask will you accept Jean Rice and help guide her when she is on our pack ground even if she is a member of Four Seasons Coven?"
She turns and looks at Priestess Maia. "Since today is a history making day. Our coven will request I know your coven is known for change of weather and element of air. Our coven is known for element of earth. We would love a chance to have her be our first co-coven member. We teach her more of earth element beyond the basics?"
I see Grammy start to glow and her hand raises. A rainbow arches up in the air and then I noticed the same thing was done by Priestess Charlene. The arches meet in the middle and forms and expands over the meadow and above the tree line. Everyone gasp and looks at a beautiful double rainbow above us. As soon as both are in place this unexpected delight they stop glowing.
