To My Happily Ever After

The journey

The train started moving, i called my mom to inform her that i reached safely.

"Yes mummy, i have reached on time. You don't have to worry about anything. Yes, i am safe and i will call you tomorrow. Bye."

I was nervous but i didn't let my mother know anything. I didn't want her to go to bed worrying about me.

I hung up the call.

I noticed that there were very few people and one or two of them moved out for a while.

At this point, he started a conversation with me.

Hello!" He said.

"Hi!" I replied.

I heard you talking to your mom, which reminded me of my own mother.

"Wow! He came up with something to start a conversation." I thought.

I just smiled because i was running out of words.

He was quiet for a while.

"I think you are travelling alone. First solo trip, right?"

I was totally shocked.

"How do you know that this is my first solo trip? I mean we just met now."
"What if he's stalking me?" I thought

"Actually i heard you talking to someone on call. You were loud so i guess everyone present here heard you."

"Yeah, i was talking to my sister. Sorry i was too loud."

"So where are you going? " he asked.

"Is it safe to share my details with him?" This thought struck my mind.

"I am heading to munnar. " i replied while ignoring my all nervousness.

"Oh! Same here. I am also visting Munnar with my friend. I think it's the best time to visit hill stations. "

I was running out of words so i just smiled again.

" By the way, I am Karan. " He said.

"So i won't have to say the guy who helped me again and again to refer him. He has a name and it's Karan."

At this point i thought, i am taking too long to introduce myself.

"Hi! I am Kavya. " I replied.

It was a very casual first introduction that we make when we first meet with someone.

"So what do you do? " He asked.

"I am an engineering student. " i said

" I am an engineering student too, just graduated college this year.

"Which stream? " This was the first question that i asked.

"Mechanical, what about you? " he asked.

"I am a CSE student. " i replied.

Meanwhile, a guy who was earlier sitting next to him arrived.

"That is my friend Akash. " he pointed to that guy.

"We were roommates during college. He is also my best friend and we are meeting after really long."

Since Akash was busy on his phone, he didn't even notice us so we kept talking without inviting him to be a part of our conversation.

"That's really nice." I replied.
