little surprises

Next day i woke up and it was still raining, not heavily like the previous night but it was enough to cancel our plans.
The weather was pretty cold, i still took a bathe and changed into a blue t shirt, grey jeans and a pink jacket.
I also kept my hair open.
I got ready and ordered breakfast on my room.
I checked my whatsapp, there was a lot of messages but i tapped on Karan's name.

It was a picture of the rain through his window along with a sad emoji.

I called him and we decided to meet downstairs.
There was a sitting arrangement indoor, so we could not think of a better place than that.

Meanwhile i also called Ektha and asked her to join us.

"You know what? I don't want to ruin our day just because of rain. If you perceive properly, the rains aren't that bad. We can still go somewhere." I said while trying to explain myself.

"I don't think we can go anywhere, there are no online cabs available here. I don't think we will find any cab easily." said Akash.

"Don't worry about that, i can take care of it. I can talk to my brother, i am sure he can ask someone to drive us"  Ektha said while looking excited.

"Okay, we can go somewhere, but we will need to get off the cab, we don't have umbrellas." Karan said.

"Don't worry about that either." Ektha said.

"Where do you all want to go?"  Karan asked.

"Pothamedu, this isn't far away so we can go there." I remarked.

"Yes, that will not take much time. I am calling my brother, if he can arrange a cab for us." Ektha said.

Ektha went aside to talk to her brother.

"Did you eat anything?"
I asked karan and Akash.

"Yes, we already had breakfast in our room."  Karan responded.

Ektha came back happily, while annoucing that the cab will be there in 10 minutes.

"If you want to take anything then hurry up. Also don't wear anything uncomfortable." She said in a contented voice.

I was very comfortable in my clothes so i didn't bother to change. I still went to my room to take my sling bag, where i can keep my little purse, phone and handkerchief.
I also took a bottle of water.

Meanwhile, Ektha came with two umbrellas.
We kept everything in the cab.
Ektha was familiar with the driver, Nithin. He was his brother's friend and a very sweet guy.

Karan, Ektha and I sat in the backseat, whereas Akash preferred to sit at the front.
Ektha and I were sitting near the windows and Karan was sitting in the middle.
Ektha's presence made our journey far better. She was a bundle of happiness.

The rain didn't affect our journey, rather it made our trip more memorable. Everything was looking fresh as if someone granted them a new life. We played songs, made fun of each other and laughed our heart out.

We didn't even realise when we convered the distance and reached our destination.

The rain stopped by the time we arrived at the location.

I had never done trekking before but i was  more than excited to reach the view point.

Ektha and Nithin, guided us towards the top.
It wasn't an easy journey for us. The path was muddy and slippery due to the rain water.
I was about to slip when karan held my arm and stopped me from falling.
