To My Happily Ever After

A date?

We reached the hotel at 12:35 PM.

"Hey! It's our first day here. Let's plan something interesting in the evening. We will call you." Karan said while leaving me outside my room.
Akash was already ahead of us.

"Yes, sure. Bye." I said while smiling at him.

My room was very warm and beautiful. It was decorated with wooden floor, very aesthetic walls and a small balcony.
I went straight to the washroom to take a warm shower.
The warm water felt really nice on a cold breezy day.
I quickly changed into a cropped white full sleeve ribbed sweet shirt with a heart print on the middle and black checkered trousers.
We already bought lunch before stepping in.
I connected my phone to the charger before eating my lunch and decided to take a nap.
I was so tired of this journey.

I didn't even notice, when the clock hit 4PM.
The sound on my phone woke me up.
It was my mom.
"Hello mummy!"
"So have you reached your hotel?"
"Yes, i was sleeping."
"Did you eat anything?"
"Yes mummy, i have already ate breakfast and lunch. Don't worry about me, i will not skip even a single meal. "
"How is your hotel?"
"It's very nice. I haven't explored anything yet as i was too tired. I just woke up now."
"Okay, please take care of yourself and keep calling."
"Yes sure mummy, tell Kiara that i will call her later."
"Okay beta, bye."

I took a sigh of relief. I was glad that she didn't ask anything about my friends.

I tried to call Karan to make a plan. He didn't receive the call.

"I think he's sleeping."
I went to my balcony, it was small but worthy. The glimpse of the lush green hills and cloudy sky was magnificent.
I quickly took pictures of the hills and the cotton candy sky.

I kept my phone on the table and looked myself in the mirror.
I didn't bother to change my clothes but i adjusted my hair and did a light makeup.

It was evening, the red sky was a delight to the eyes.
I started roaming in the resort.
The ambience was very nice, there were very few people.
The couples were walking and holding each other's hand.
I was in a very good mood, exploring very corner of the resort.

"Hey! Can you take a picture of me with the hills?" I asked a girl.

"Oh yes! Of course."

She was kind enough to click few pictures of me. She even suggested few poses.

I took a moment to stare at her, she was very pretty girl with black curls.

We got engaged in a short conversation and got instantly connected.

"I am Ektha Nayar. My father is the manager of this resort so i am staying here for few days along with my family."

I also introduced myself.

We chatted for a while. She was really sweet enough and spent an hour with me.

"I am really looking forward to meet you again." I said.

I was walking in the garden area when someone placed a hand on my shoulder. I got scared and quickly turned back.

It was Karan, wearing a blue and white checkered t shirt and grey jeans. He was looking better than before.

"What are you doing here?" Karan asked.

"Nothing much, just exploring every corner of this resort."

"By the way, what are you doing here?" I asked.
