To My Happily Ever After

a new beginning

We stopped talking for a while.

The train took a break at a popular station.

Karan got off the train with his friend Akash.

I was craving for cold water.
It really feels good to have a sip of cold water when you are tired in summer days. Even though we were sitting in 3AC, i was still looking forward to have few sips of slightly cold water to calm my soul.

Many vendors usually come on trains to sell water bottles so I started moving my eyes in all possible directions.
I kept searching and searching but nobody showed up.

I was too scared to get off the train.
I sadly decided to let my desire go.

The break was not very long and the train started its journey once again.

Meanwhile, Karan came with a cold water bottle in his hand.

He offered me to drink first.

Usually i am kind of shy to accept anything but this time i happily accepted his offer.

We started talking again and discussed various subject like education, politics and other things.
We realised that we shared common interests in lots of fields.

Maybe because we both were engineering students.
An engineer is interested in all the fields, they can ace each and every aspect of life.
If i would ever get a chance to ruin my life once again, undoubtedly i would choose engineering again and again because we engineers are addicted to it.

Akash also joined our conversation.

Akash was an average looking guy, with a humor. He was quite well built.

Akash and karan were best friends so both of them revealed their lots of secrets.
They were also very excited for the trip to Munnar just like me.

I was happy that i found company in this long train journey.

I felt relatively safe with them. They didn't let me feel like a stranger even for a second. They included me in all their topics.

The night was on its full glory. The moon was looking beautiful than ever before. Everything was dark outside but the street lights on the darkness was enchanting.
Akash was playing songs of Arijit singh on his pocket speaker  and it made the journey more beautiful. It was just the cherry on top of the cake.
Arjit singh can make anything memorable with his outstanding voice.

The train staff interrupted the moment as he was there to take food orders.

We were all hungry so we decided to do our dinner.

Akash and karan were about to give an order when i told them not to order anything as i have a lot of food.

My mom packed a lot of food in my bag so i was more than ready to share my food with my newly found companions.

They also accepted my offer happily.

"That's a lot of food, We could feed this entire train with it. I am calling railway staffs for the mass distribution of your food." Akash remarked and three of us started laughing.

He was kind of right, it was a lot. 

"Wow! Your mom makes delicious food. " Karan said.

"Thanks. " i replied

"But why did you mom packed so much stuff for you? " Karan asked as if he really wanted to know.

"Actually my mom packed for my friends also. She doesn't know that they cancelled the plan. I will tell her once i reach home after this trip. " i replied.

"Oh my god! That's so daring. " Akash said and Karan agreed too.

"Don't mind but i am little concerned. What if you get in any trouble during this trip? It's not safe to hide these things from your family. "  Karan said.

"Yes i understand that. This is the last time i am doing something like this and my sister knows about it. In fact it was her idea. " i replied.

"It's okay. Don't worry, nothing will happen to you. It's just that i don't feel it's good to hide such things." Karan said again.

"I understand and i totally agree with you. I had no other options and i am feeling bad about it."

"No no, don't feel bad. You can't go back now. Glad you came, you got to meet us."  Karan said.

"Yeah right. We are also glad that we met you. You are here to enjoy so don't feel bad and enjoy yourself." Akash commented.

I smiled at them.

we ate the paranthas with dry chilli panner and tomato ketchup.

It was late so we got back to our seats to sleep after a really tiring day.

Whatever Karan said really made me think about my decision again. I really wanted to tell this to my parents but i knew that they would never allow me to go somewhere so far away alone.

We don't get the proper sleep on train because of the continuous motion.

I was sleeping on the lower seat.

Karan and Akash were sleeping on the opposite side, Akash on the lower seat and karan on the middle seat.

I was unable to sleep so i decided to use my phone.
I wanted to call my sister but i didn't want to disturb Akash as i saw him sleeping.
So i decided to leave a message on Whatsapp.

"Hey! I found really good people. They are just like me. I will tell you everything tomorrow but i am also feeling bad that our parents doesn't know that i am travelling alone."

After texting my sister, i decided to leave another message to my best friend.

"Wish you were here. I miss you."

The network started working, i got a new message in Instagram.

"Hi!", It was a message from Karan.

I looked at him from my seat, he was using his phone too.

"Hi!" I replied.

"Still awake?" He asked.

I replied with a GIF saying yes.

"Can we switch to Whatsapp?" He asked.

I think this is the most common message that a girl gets on her account.

Since we recently became friends, i gave him my number.

He instantly texted me on Whatsapp.

"So any special plan for tomorrow?" He said sarcastically.

"Yeah, i am returning back to kolkata." I replied with sarcasm too.

"If you really wanna go then please take Akash with you. I can't handle him alone."

"I sent  lots of laughing emojis."

We kept chatting for an hour.
We hardly get a good network on trains.
So the network stopped working as expected. I waited for few minutes but it the network didn't return.

It was 12: 15 AM.
I was bored without my phone and started feeling kind of sleepy so i kept my phone in my sling bag and decided to take a nap.
I looked at the moon for the last time before sleeping. It was looking surreal.

I adjusted the pillow and the blanket before sleeping.
