They soon pulled into the parking lot of a large park. A smile quickly spread across her face as she realized what they were going to do.

"Thought you would enjoy reliving the first day I got my license and I took us here to have a little picnic in the rose garden." Luke turns the car off and pulls the key out of the ignition and twirls the ring on his finger.

"It's perfect, Luke. But we don't have a blanket like we did back then." She opens the door and hops out of the truck, grabbing her backpack and the bag of food in the process. Luke grabs his guitar case and hops out of his side before jumping into the bed of the truck.

"And that is why I have this box full of things I may need for any situation." He unlocks the box and pulls out the same blanket they used for the original picnic there.

"Of course you do. You are always prepared for anything." Olivia rolls her eyes as Luke closes the box and locks it. He jumps out of the bed of the truck landing next to the girl and they make their way into the park.

They walked toward the back of the park where the rose garden was and Luke set up the blanket right in the middle of all the flowers. Olivia set the bag of food down on top of the blanket and sat with her legs folded to the side of her. Luke set down his guitar case on the blanket and sat down next to the girl. He pulled the flannel off her shoulder and pressed his lips softly to it, making Olivia lean into him.

"I wrote another song." The girl smiles at her lap as the boy sits up and lifts her chin to look her in the eyes.

"Without me? Oh, how you wound me!" He puts the back of his hand up to his forehead and fakes a swoon, getting a laugh from Olivia.

"I was going to use it to ask you to be my boyfriend but I didn't finish it in time. Do you want me to play it for you?" She looks down at the guitar case and Luke quickly opens it up and hands it to her eagerly.

The boy had always loved hearing Olivia play and sing. He was the one who taught her how to play in the first place and prides himself for her success in it.

"Please, Luke! You always look so cool when you play." A 12 year old Olivia sat on her knees in front of Luke, begging him to teach her how to play guitar.

"I've told you over and over, it's really not that hard. Just learn the chords and strum. You can do that on your own. You don't need my help, Olly." Luke sat down on the couch in the treehouse with his guitar in his lap and plucked at random strings.

"I've tried so many times but I just don't get it. Just teach me one song, please!" She gave him her classic big puppy dog eyes and jutted out her bottom lip and let it quiver. The boy was about to give in but quickly looked away and folded his arms on top of the guitar.

"No. I learned myself, so you can do the same." He stood up and walked over to a shelf full of vinyl records and pulled one out before placing it down on the record player. He placed the needle at the edge of the disc before turning on the machine, filling the room with music.
