You start to wake up and bailey is standing above you* what happened? Where's y/n? Is she ok?

Bailey: hey no no you have inhaled way too much smoke you need to lay down and keep that oxygen mask on..

You: but have you seen y/n is she ok? *you sit up anyway coughing bailey pushes the mask back on your face*

Bailey: no one has found her yet we still arent sure where she is But people are still searching and they will find her- *you interrupt her*

You: shut up.

Bailey: excuse me? Im trying to reassure you while-

You: SHUT UP BAILEY

Bailey: why would I do that our hospital is on fire..

You: BAILEY SHUT UP

Bailey stays quiet for a second and you can hear a faint scream in the distance... You look up and see y/n is waving her arms like a maniac over the edge of the roof*

You: OH MY GOD!

Bailey looks at you confused and she looks up* oh dear god..

You jump up out of the gurney and yell y/n! Oh my god y/n! your overly excited and run towards the door when bailey yells at you* ARIZONA IF YOU STEP INTO THAT BURNING BUILDING SO HELP ME GOD

You turn around and grab a turnout coat off of the front of a fire truck is anyone going to help save my wife or what? *you put the coat on and a group of firefighters follow you back into the building and you run up the floor that had the explosion and find the body of the man covered in burns nothing is recognizable you quickly run up the stairs as fast as you can with the heavy coat so you drop it and continue to run up the stairs the firefighters grab your coat off the stairs and bring it back up chasing after you. when you get to the roof and the door is half broken off the hinges and you run out to find y/n she's around the corner giving CPR to that little girl from before she's covered in 3rd-degree burns you look at her stunned and frozen in the spot and she looks up at you with tears in her eyes

y/n: she lost her pulse about 10 minutes ago and I dont-

the firefighters run past you because you are still frozen in shock and they take Lyla down to the parking lot to be transferred to Seattle Presbyterian y/n quickly stands up but falls again because her leg still feels pretty numb you run up and try to catch her trying not to touch her burns*

y/n: I need to go with her she cant wake up without me I was here the whole time and she... She-

You: y/n its ok she's ok.. you smile because you are so glad that y/n is ok and your hold her head on your shoulder and kiss her forehead*

y/n: I need to go see her. I ran through fires for that girl I need to be there for her she trusts me and I did not risk everything for her just for her to die.. *y/ns eyes get teary and red and she's trying to catch her breath*

You: listen its ok we can go see her but you need help y/n look at you... Youre covered in burns..

y/n: Im ok I promise I just need her to be ok

You sigh but you know that if you don't let y/n go with her she wont get the help she needs so you help y/n down the stairs and into the back of the ambulance...
