Chapter 1 | Me and my best friend

Dylan's pov

I'm Dylan Kingwell. I live in Canada in Vancouver. All my life, I have a friend with me. My best friend. Y/n. She has a birthday on the same day as me, and she was born at the same time in the same year! We know each other since we came into this world. Our mothers are best friends since they were young, too. Well, that maybe explains why we are almost the same :) Some people are calling us twins, and I'm happy about that. I love to be her friend. She's the best person in the world. We are neighbors, and we both live in quite big white houses.

*On y/n's courtyard*

Dylan: Hi y/n!
Y/n: Dylan! *runs and hug him*
Dylan: So how was your day?
Y/n: It was great! I got an A+ on the test and I can't wait for vacations!
Dylan: I'm so excited too!
Y/n: Just one day and we can spend all vacations together!
Dylan: Yea I'm really looking forward to it!
Y/n: I googled the best places for vacations and I found some interesting places.
Dylan: Wow you took this vacation seriously, huh? *smiles*
Y/n: Yes of course! I want all to be perfect this year.
Dylan: Wh-
Y/n: BUT don't tell anyone.
Dylan: Um... Okay?
Y/n: Come to my house, I have a lot to tell you!
Dylan: It sounds great! But first I need to go home. I need to do some things. Also, I'm late.
Y/n: Okay! See you later!

*Dylan went home*

Y/n's pov

Aahh this year, our vacations will be the best! I'm going to find the best place for a vacation. He doesn't know what I'm going to do hehhhe. He will have the best birthday!

*At Dylan's house*

Dylan: Hi mum!
Jennifer: Hi Dylan! How was in school?
Dylan: It was pretty good.
Adysson: Dylan!
Dylan: Heyy, here's my little sister!
Kayla: *comes past* And here's my younger brother.
Dylan: I missed u too.

*Few secs of silence*

Kayla: Heey I missed u *smiles and hugs him*
Jennifer: Oh God I taught you have your "fights" again.
Dylan: Nahh.
Jennifer: You're a bit late. Where have
you been?
Dylan: I saw y/n. We've been talking a little bit.
Kayla: Uuu y/n huh?
Dylan: Ugh, stop it! We're best friends since we were born of course we will talk every time we see each other.
Adysson: And since you were born you're in love with her.
Dylan: Oh now you started?! I don't like her stop being annoying!
Jennifer: Okay fine. How is her mother?
Dylan: Melani? She's fine. I guess. I didn't ask her. None of my business.
Kayla: Right. So what were you talking about?
Dylan: Nothing. Just um... School! Yea school. Tests and... this...stuff.
Adysson: I don't believe you.
Dylan: Well... then don't.
Kayla: Seriously what were you talking about?
Dylan: Why do you have to know? It's our thing. Not yours.
Adysson: But-
Dylan: I have to go at y/n's now. We'll... *thinking* do homework together.

*Leaves the house and goes to y/n's*

Adysson: They have homework on the last day of school?
Kayla: Come on don't you see he's lying? Oh and btw tomorrow is the last day of school.

*At y/n's*

Y/n: Hi Dylan!
Dylan: Hi y/n! Are your brothers at home?
Y/n: Thankfully not. They are still in school. But I'm sure that Tom and Jacob are out with their classmates. Thank God that I don't have a twin-like they are. They're always fighting!
Dylan: But they are taking care of you.
Y/n: Yea. But they're so annoying. They're flexing because they're 18. Ugh.
Dylan: Alright, enough of your brothers. What did you want to tell me?
Y/n: Oh yeah! Come to my room. I'm gonna show you.
Dylan: Okay.

*In y/n's room*

Y/n: Come, sit down.
Dylan: Wow I forgot how cool your room is.
