Chapter 29 | Old friends, new family, exciting news

Y/n:We'll be inside in a minute.
Tom: Okay. *Tom and Klarisa go inside*

Dylan: What do you think they have to tell us?
Y/n:How am I supposed to know? I was gone for 5 years!
Dylan: Maybe they're moving away?
Y/n: They didn't yet? I taught they will have kids to now!

*Dylan looks at her strange*

Y/n: No I didn't-

*Dylan starts laughing. Y/n joins him*

Dylan: *still laughing* Let's go.

*stands up and helps y/n stand up. He hugs her round neck and they both walk into the house. There's a suprise.*

Dylan: Jack?
Jack: Hey man!
Dylan: Heey!

*They squeeze hands as boys do*

Dylan: When did you come?
Jack: Not a long time ago. Mina and Jacques came for me. They wanted to be here because I'm "part of the family" now when Klarisa is with Tom *laughs*
Dylan: That's great!

Jack: Wait. Y/n? I-is that you?
Y/n: *confused* Sorry, do I know you? I mean... You seem similar but...
Jack: You don't know me?
Mina: Oh um. Y/n has memory loss.
Jack: M-memory loss?

*looks back at y/n*

Jack: I'm Jack. Your... Friend.
Dylan: You were on prom together. Klarisa is his sister.
Y/n: Wait... You were at the prom with Sarah!
Jack: Yes!
Y/n: I remember you! *hugs him* You changed!
Jack: I-I would like to say same for you but.. *smiles* y-you look the same. It's scary

*everyone laughs*

Y/n: Whyyyy?!
Jack: Forget about it. I'm happy you're alive. But still don't know how if we saw you die.
Y/n: Can I explain later?
Jack: Sure!

*Tom stands up and shouts*

Tom: Okay, can we now we all sit down?

*You sit between Dylan and Jack*

Tom: Thank you. So... Me and Klarisa have to tell you something.
Klarisa: Jack, you probably don't know why you are here.
Jack: Because I'm part of a family now?
Klarisa: Well.. Yes. I wanted my mom and dad to come, but they couldn't so me and Tom are going to te them this later.
Tom: First we wanted to speak to you. So...

*turns to Klarisa and says quietly but others can still hear him*

Tom: This is so hard, jeez.
Y/n: Will you tell us, or you won't tell us?
Tom: Okay. *takes a deep breath* Family De la Cour and family
Dvořák (Jack and Klarisa's surname) is getting a new member.

*Everyone stays silent until... *

Y/n & Jack: Wait, wait, wait. You're saying... *they look at each other*

*Tom and Klarisa looks at each other and smile*

Klarisa: I'm pregnant.

*No one moves or says anything*

Tom: You don't seem happy.

*Y/n and Jack look at each other*

Y/n & Jack: *at the same time* I'm gonna be an aunt/uncle!! AAAAA *hugs each other*
Jacob: So I'm... Uncle?
Tom: Not yet. But you will. *smiles*
Jacob: Dude congratulations!!
Tom: Thanks, bro!

*Everyone congrats Klarisa and Tom*

Y/n: How long?!
Klarisa: Three weeks.
Y/n: Already?!
Karisa: Yes!!
Y/n: Do you know it's a boy or a girl?
Klarisa: No, not yet. Sorry. But I'm going to!
Y/n: When?!
Tom: Tomorrow.
Y/n: No way!

*Jack comes*

Jack: What tomorrow?
Y/n: They're going to find out if it's a boy or a girl!
Jack: No way!
Tom: If you want you can go with us.
Y/n & Jack: COUNT US IN!
Klarisa: Okay. So tomorrow at 7 am we're going.
Jack: But how? I live far from here. And I don't have a car since mom and dad took it. You'll have to come for me at like... 4 am!
Klarisa: Oh crab.
Melani: You're staying here tonight.

*everyone turns*

Y/n: Really?!
Melani: Sure. If he wants of course.

*Dylan comes*

Y/n: Dylan! Jack and I will go with Tom and Klarisa to find if it will be a niece or nephew! And guess what! Jack is staying here today!
Dylan: *shocked* He is- Jack can I talk to you for a sec?
Jack: Sure. *they go to a private place*
Dylan: Jack don't you dare to-
Jack: I won't. I'll sleep on the other bed. I won't steal y/n from you don't worry. She never liked me anyway.
Dylan: Thank you.

*y/n comes*

Y/n: Dylan.
Dylan: y/n oh my hod you scared me!
Y/n: I talked to mom.
Dylan: Why?
Y/n: You're staying here too!
Dylan: *happy* What?! But why?
Y/n: Well, I taught you won't feel comfortable if Jack sleeps with me. And because you're my... Best friend...
Dylan: Best friend?
Jack: Um you know I'll leave you alone. See you later.

*Jack goes out of the room*

Dylan: Best friend? That's what we are?
Y/n: well.. You never really asked me to be your girlfriend.
Dylan: I did when you were in the hospital.
Y/n: We haven't talked for five years. How am I supposed to know if you still want to be my boyfriend. I know we kissed but...
Dylan: Would it be good if I go on my knees and ask you to be my girlfriend? *smiles*
Y/n: No please no! *chuckles* Do it as you did in the hospital!
Dylan: Alright then. *takes y/n's hand*  will you be my girlfriend and have a family with me? Be by my side every moment and every day? *smiles*
Y/n: Yes. I would love to. *smiles*

*Dylan kisses her. He stares into her ocean blue eyes and hugs her. He takes her hand and walks to the kitchen. Within walking, they talk. *

Dylan: I have a question for you.
Y/n: Yes?
Dylan: How will you feel sleeping alone with 2 boys in a room? It's true we're 20 but if I would sleep with 2 girls alone I'll feel very strange.
Y/n: Oh I fixed that problem already, don't worry 'bout it. *runs into kitchen happily*

*Adysson comes to Dylan*

Adysson: Dylan, Dylan!!
Dylan: What is it??
Adysson: I'll be sleeping here at y/n's today!!
