Chapter 9 | Broken y/n

Y/n: I don't know... Maybe I'm gonna try to be her friend.
Aris: Her friend?
Y/n: Yeah.
Sarah: She stole Dylan from you.
Y/n: She didn't... Well, actually she did... But you know what Dylan said about me. He never loved me.
Aris: Yeah but-
Y/n: Can we please stop talking about Dylan? I'm trying to forget. Please.
Aris: As you say.

*Sarah and Aris go downstairs*

Tom: *to Aris* Is y/n alright?
Aris: She's fine.
Sarah: Yeah she just needs some time.
Aris: But she doesn't want to see Dylan today.
Sarah: So please keep Dylan away from y/n.
Jacob: Poor y/n. I feel so sorry for our little sister.
Tom: Yeah. She loved him since she was born.
Sarah: Well we're sorry too.

*Dylan comes to them*

Dylan: Hey.
Sarah: Hey Dylan.
Dylan: Look I'm sorry about y/n but she has to know that.
Sarah: Yea but you really hurt her.
Dylan: I'm sorry.
Tom: Don't say sorry to us. Say sorry to her.
Aris: But not today.
Dylan: Why not?
Sarah: Let us say she... Needs some privacy.
Dylan: Umm ok? Anyways, I wanted to tell you this yesterday but I couldn't. I just want you to know that. Have fun! *he left*

'Sarah and Aris are having fun at the party. Y/n is locked in her room, thinking and talking to her teddy bear, her only memory on her twin brother Evan.'

Y/n to her teddy bear (in tears)
Hey Evan. I hope you can hear me. Today was the worst day ever. You know Dylan, the guys who were born on the same day as we were? Well, you know I love him till the first day I saw him. Well... I taught he likes me but... Today he said he never liked me... He totally broke my heart. And now I don't have you by my side... You don't know how much I miss you. I want you to be here with me, so I can tell you my problems. It's true that I have Sarah and Aris, they're the best but they're not you you know... Dylan's girlfriend Lola is coming in two days. She will be our neighbor. I don't know how I'll stand this. What should I do? Please help me. Oh, dear Evan... Why I have to be here? Why I cannot be with you? You were supposed to be here... Anyway, Sarah and Aris will sleep here tonight. Dylan was supposed to sleep there too but after all this... I think that won't happen. I don't want to talk with him today. Sarah said Lola and Dylan won't be long together but I don't know... I have a different feeling. Well, we'll see. Goodnight Evan. I love you so much. More than anything in this world.

*Someone knocks*

Y/n: Step in!

*It was Tom and Jacob*

Y/n: Oh it's you.
Tom: Yeah. Were you talking to Evan again?
Y/n: Yeah. He's the one who understands me.
Jacob: You know you can tell us your problems too and we'll help right?
Y/n: Of course! But me and Evan... You know how it is to have a twin.
Tom: We know. And we're happy that you talk with Evan. He was your twin brother. Maybe we can't see and hear him but... He's still in our hearts. We miss him too. He was our brother.
Jacob: And believe that he is helping you. You just don't see. He hears you. He sees you.
Y/n: Thank you, guys. I'm so happy that I have someone by my side *hugs them*
Tom: Always!
Jacob: It's late. What if you'll go to sleep?
Y/n: But I taught I will have a sleepover with Sarah and Aris.
Tom: They can't today. Sarah's dad will come back from Australia tonight. Remember? They told you that yesterday.
Y/n: Oh yeah I forgot.
Jacob: Look they're here!
Sarah: Hi again y/n.
Tom: We'll leave you alone.

*Tom and Jacob left the room*

Aris: We just came to say goodbye.
Sarah: I'm sorry because we can't sleep here today.
Aris: But we can hang out tomorrow!
Y/n: I don't know I'll see.
Sarah: And don't worry about Lola.
Aris: I promess we won't be friends.
Y/n: Guys it's okay. You can be friends with her.
Aris: I won't.
Sarah: I won't be too so-

*Someone knocks*

?: Can I come in?
Sarah: *quietly* That's Dylan!
Aris: We will go now and say to him he must do go. Come, Sarah.
Sarah: Bye y/n *hugs her*
Aris: Hope you'll be better *hugs her*
Y/n: Bye guys. Thank you for everything!

*Sarah and Aris go out*

Dylan: Oh hey. I didn't know you're in.
Sarah: Yeah we taught so.
Aris: Dylan... It will be better if you leave y/n alone today.
Dylan: I just want to apologize...
Sarah: We know just... Not today.
Aris: Let's go, dude.

'Aris, Sarah, and Dylan left. Dylan is looking at your doors. An hour later when Sarah and Aris left the house, Dylan came in. Y/n is writing in her diary and he knocks at her doors, but y/n doesn't know it's him'

*Dylan knocks*

Y/n: *hides her diary* It's open!

'Dylan comes in and y/n turns away'

Dylan: Y/n please listen. Look I'm so sorry what happened. You know I love you. But just as a friend. I really feel something to Lola. I know you are so sad because of this but-
Y/n: You didn't get it! Fine be with Lola if you want but you know what's not fair? I was always by your side, I always told you everything, and now? You didn't tell me you have a girlfriend! Do you know how important this is?! I taught we can trust each other! But I guess we can't... *leaves a room*
Dylan: *runs behind y/n* I wanted to tell you!
Y/n: But you didn't!
Dylan: Now wait a moment! *holds y/n and turns herself to himself* I wanted to tell you when we were hanging out yesterday. Do you remember when your mum called you? That was the moment I wanted to tell you.

*Awkward silence*

Dylan: So? What will you say now?
