Chapter 26 | One more soul in heaven

Dylan: So?
Y/n: *still talking quietly all the time* A family?
Dylan: Yes...
Y/n: Of course.
Dylan: Wait really?
Y/n: I'm not gonna say it twice.

*Both of them laugh a bit*

Dylan: *quietly* Thank you. For everything.
Y/n: *smiles and looks at Dylan with her teary and tired eyes* Can you call Tom?
Dylan: Of course.
Y/n: *still quietly* Thank you.
Dylan: I can't wait to see you at home again. We will have sleepovers every night. *kisses her and walks out*
Y/n: *in her mind* If I come home...

*Tom walks in*

Tom: Y/n...

*Y/n is just looking at him and then she smiles*

Tom: I missed you so much... *hugs her "softly" *
Y/n: *talks quietly all the time* I missed you too.
Tom: Oh gosh you can't even talk... And you look bad...
Y/n: You think?
Tom: Teary, red and swollen eyes, pale, hot, all on infusion and other medications, wrapped around your stomach because of surgery... *his eyes got red*
Y/n: Are you crying? Why is everyone crying today?
Tom: *laughs in tears* I just... Can't watch you like... *starts crying hardly* this...
Y/n: *holds his hand* I'm going to be okay. I promess.
Tom: I was supposed to protect you... But I wasn't there when you needed me...
Y/n: Stop it. It wasn't your fault. *coughs* You better tell me how's it going with Klarisa?
Tom: Oh well... *laughs* We are going to college together and after college, we will probably move away.
Y/n: And after you end college I'll become an aunt. *both laugh. Y/n coughs again*
Tom: Maybe... You never know..

*Y/n starts coughing*

Tom: Y/n you good?
Y/n: Yes yes I just... *she starts breathing heavily*
Tom: Y-Y/n don't scare me...
Y/n: I can't... B-breathe... *her heartbeat starts dropping*
Tom: Y/n! *shouts* CALL THE DOCTOR NOW!!

*The doctor comes in y/n's room, takes Tom out, and helps y/n. After some minutes, the doctor comes out to y/n's family*

Doctor: Mr. and Mrs. De la Cour?
Melani: Yes?
Jacques: Our son told us what happened is everything alright with y/n?
Doctor: Please step with me. Both of you.
Dylan: Can we go too?
Melani: It will be better if you stay here.
Jacob: Yeah don't worry we will tell you what's happening. It'll be alright you'll see.
Jacques: It will be better for you to stay here too.
Tom & Jacob: WHAT?! Why?!
Melani: We'll tell you everything.
Jacques: Everything's gonna be fine.

*Doctor and y/n's parents steps into another room. Everyone is waiting until they hear a scream coming from a room, where y/n's parents and the doctor are. *

Dylan: What was that?!
Tom: Wait here. Me and Jacob are gonna look.
Mina: Okay.

*Tom and Jacob go inside. They see both of their parents crying, Melani is on the floor, Jacques is calming her down.*

Jacob: Mom? Dad?
Tom: *turns to the doctor* What did you say to them?!
Jacob: *worried* Um... Tom...
Tom: *yells* What Jacob, What?!

*Jacob points to y/n*

Tom: Wha- *looks* Why is y/n not on her medical devices anymore?
Doctor: I'm... I'm so so sorry.
Tom: No... No!!! I-it can't be true! *Tom and Jacob start crying too*
Doctor: We did all we could.
Melani: C-can you leave us alone w-with her?
Doctor: Take your time. *walks out*

'Mina calls Tom. Tom picks up'

Mina: Is everything alright?

*Tom stays silent. Mina can hear him crying*

Mina: Tom? What happened?
Tom: Come in. Please...
Mina: Going straight into the room. I'll take Dylan with me.
Tom: No, please...
Mina: I can't leave him alone. We're coming. *declines* Dylan we have to go.
Dylan: Is something wrong?
Mina: Yes. I don't know what, but we're going to find out.

'Mina and Dylan run into y/n's room. Dylan sees everyone crying into y/n, but Mina sees a black flower in y/n' s hand which doctors gave her. Mina knew what this flower means, so she didn't move. She just stood at the doors with her mouth open.'

Mina: Y/n... *shouts* Y/N! *runs to y/n' s bed and joins the family crying*
Dylan: *now he sees a black flower* Y/N!! NO!! *falls on his knees*
Melani: *everyone is crying*  I'm so sorry Dylan. I couldn't save her.
Dylan: I know... It's not your fault...
Jacob: I heard you when you said to y/n if she wants to be your girlfriend.
Melani: What did she say....?
Dylan: Yes..
Melani: I'm sorry..

*After an hour everyone spoke with y/n for the last time. Dylan was the last, who spoke to her.*

Dylan: *still crying*  I don't know what to say.. I couldn't believe that I'll ever see you on 'death bed'. I didn't even think about it. I always imagined our life together. How we're going to have a family once. Our happy ending... *silence.* This can't be the end... You didn't have time to start enjoying your life.. I didn't have time to fix all I did in past... Please... Please come back y/n...

*Nurse steps in*

Nurse: Dylan Kingwell? It's time to go.
Dylan: *quietly in tears* Okay..
Nurse: I'm so sorry for your loss. *Leaves*
Dylan: *while crying* At least you're with Evan. I'm sure he's happy to be with you... *he puts a teddy bear out of his jacket* Here... Your teddy bear from Evan. I carried it for you. Like you asked months ago... I was such an idiot. I wish I could fix the past.. *silence* I never loved anyone more than you. I don't know how I'm going to walk away. It's... Too hard.. I love you. So much. *gives her her last kiss on a forhead*

'Dylan goes out of the room and dor one last time looks at y/n. He goes to the car, and De la Cour's family and Dylan drive home. Everyone finds out what happened with y/n, but no one never made a funeral for y/n. Lola moved away, and no one never saw her again. All Dylan's fans found out about y/n, and y/n's death was the most popular theme on the internet.
After one month, y/n's family was called to the hospital again, but no one never found out why.'
