Chapter 8 | Destroyed birthday party

Y/n's pov
I didn't actually go to the doctor's. My mum reminded me of a birthday party! I needed to prepare! And prepare for a big thing. I'll "give" to Dylan a present, I was preparing since I was 3 years old.

*Next day, one hour before party*

Y/n: Sarah you're here!
Sarah: Yess!
Y/n: I don't know what to wear Sarah please help!!
Sarah: Okay. But first...
Y/n: What?
Sarah: How was yesterday?!
Y/n: It was... Normal.
Sarah: Normal? What should that mean?
Y/n: It was the same as always.
Sarah: No no no something has to happened!
Y/n: But it isn't! *thinks* But he wanted to tell me something...
Sarah: Wanted?
Y/n: Yeah.
Sarah: Why he didn't?
Y/n: My mom called me.
Sarah: Damn it! Always at the wrong time huh?
Y/n: What can I say... My mom has 7th feel *laughs* She always knows when's the "right" time.
Sarah: Don't worry. I'm sure it's nothing important.
Y/n: I guess that too.
Sarah: Soo what will you wear??
Y/n: I've been finding this outfit for a really long time. Now, I just hope it's the one. Can you tell me if it is?
Sarah: Of course! Show me it!

Y/n: I know it's nothing special but I haven't worn it for a long time so.
Sarah: It's great y/n! Dylan will totally fall in love with you *laughs*
Y/n: Sarah stop! *laughs*

*Doorbell rings*

Sarah: I guess that's Dylan.
Y/n: Or our friends.
Sarah: Dylan.
Y/n: Friends.
Sarah: Dylan.
Y/n: Fri-
Sarah: What if we'll go open the door?
Y/n: Can you go? I need to do my hairstyle.
Sarah: Sure.

*Sarah goes open the door*

Sarah: Dylan, Aris! Nice to see you guys! *Aris is Dylan's best friend and Sarah and y/n's very good friend*
Dylan: It's nice to see you too.
Aris: Where's y/n?
Sarah: Oh she's doing her hairstyle.
Dylan: Well I guess she's here.
Sarah: What?
Dylan: *shows at y/n behind Sarah*
Sarah: Wow y/n... You're...
Aris: Gorgeous. I love your hairstyle.

*y/n's hairstyle*

Y/n: Thank you, everyone!
Aris: Oh and. *steps to y/n and holds her hand* Happy 15th birthday y/n.
Y/n: Thank you, Aris! *hugs him*
Dylan: Happy birthday y/n.
Y/n: Happy birthday Dylan. *hugs each other*
Sarah: So how many people will come today?
Dylan: Actually... It's more like a...
Y/n: Family and close friends' party.
Aris: And?
Dylan: It's just us and our families.
Sarah: Okay.
Aris: Yea it's cool.
Y/n: Right that was a pretty good reaction. Let's go having fun!
Everyone: Yeah!

' They were having so much fun, and then they went to eat a cake. All family was sitting. Dylan sees it's the right moment to tell his family and close friends his big secret.'

Dylan: *stands up* Silence, please! Thank you. The first thing I would like to say is happy 15th birthday again y/n. *y/n smirks* And happy 15th birthday to me of course. And the second thing I want to say is that a lot happened on vacation. You don't know that-except my family-but I went on auditions for one series. And I was accepted. But there is also one thing you don't know. I met a lot of people, a lot of people who will act in the same series as I am going to. And I met a girl. Her name is Lola. She's so kind, honest and talented and... I think that's the right moment to tell you... We fell in love. We knew that we can't have a relationship on distance. But she's moving here in one week. Here in Vancouver. And I just want to say she's the best girl. On her first day here I'm going to introduce you to her. You're going to like her. Thanks for your attention.

' Everyone is surprised. Y/n is sitting between Sarah and Aris and Sarah sees that the tear is falling out of y/n' s eye. Y/n stands up and runs away during crying. Sarah and Aris want to stop her. '

Sarah: No no y/n please! *runs after her*
Aris: *looks at Dylan* Sorry dude. *stands up and runs after y/n* Y/n, please!

*Sarah and Aris run after y/n*

*Y/n alone in her room*
Y/n's pov
Well, I guess I won't "give" my present to Dylan. I wanted to tell him how I feel. And I was hoping he will tell me the same feelings back. But now I know that... That won't happen. He will never tell me he loves me.. Never. Ever.

*In kitchen*

Jennifer: Why did you say that in front of y/n?!
Dylan: She's my best friend she has to know!
Kayla: But she loves you! Do you know how much this will affect on her?
Dylan: But I don't like her! Okay? I've never liked her...
Jacob: *to Tom* And all this right on her birthday.
Tom: *to Jacob* She's broken now. We need to help her. But not now.
Jacob: *to Tom* Yea let's give y/n some time.

*Back to Sarah, y/n, and Aris*

'Y/n locks her doors so no one can't come into her room. Aris and Sarah are standing outside and trying to help y/n'

Sarah: *in front of the doors* Y/n open the door, please.
Aris: Y/n open please we just want to help you.
Y/n: *in her room crying* Leave me alone! I don't need any help!
Aris: Y/n, please! We can't watch you crying...
Sarah: We just want to help you. Y/n open, please.

'Y/n opens the doors and Sarah and Aris hug her'

Sarah: Look I'm sure their relationship won't be long.
Aris: Yeah they will break up in a few days.
Y/n: *crying* I just heard Dylan says... "I never liked her" and... *crying more* It hurts that he says that on our birthday and he doesn't trust me...
Aris: Y/n what are you talking about? Of course, he trusts you.
Y/n: *crying* He doesn't! He didn't tell me where he was going and he always tells me things before others find out.
Sarah: I'm sure he wanted to... But maybe there was no time.
Aris: If anything helps you, I'm always gonna tell you first *laughs*
Y/n: *laughs while crying* Thank you, Aris. And thank you, Sarah. I don't know what would I do without you!
Sarah: We love you too!
Aris: What should we do to make you better?
Y/n: Go down, have fun, and... I don't want to see Dylan today.
Aris: Alright.
Sarah: What will you do when his girlfriend will come to town?
