1st watching this! I've listened to the album a couple times tho
I'm not gonna lie, the reason I got into this was because my comfort streamer played one song from the musical & I said phuckit, I wanna know the context
1st of all, the name of this boot is "tap dancing eggs the musical" & I am highly intrigued
Woah, immediate loud drumming
I have decided to knit while I watch this
Not even a minute into this boot & the dude onstage has already looked straight into the camera
I love how some of the actors are so extra w/ the dances
Pffft, the dude dances w/ the chicken for the rest of the song
That song was incredibly extra & I love it
I couldn't catch the dude in the dress 's name, but he's already my favorite
"Why haven't you given up yet?"
I ask myself this everyday, in varying levels of seriousness"What's so great about two lovers who kill themselves in the end?"
LITERALLY!! IT MAKES NO SENSEI had this song stuck in my head the other day + just "It's a musical!" replaying in my head
Honestly, that is exactly the choreo I imagined for this song
Oh, she's pretty
"You cant act!"
"*immediately starts crying*"
Omygod I love herI can't understand what her name is, I somehow miss it everytime, help
Nvm, she's my fav
"Get some sleep"
*face plants onto bed*I can't decide who my favourite is, help
"Nothing's as amazing as a musical"
If only I could get my family to understand thisY'know, I'm not gonna lie, when I first heard of / listened to this musical, I didn't think I was gonna like it too much but I am digging this
I wanna know who plays the main guy (I literally cannot catch anybody's name, except for I think the one guy's name is Nigel?? Also, Shakespeare, obvi) cause he's kinda cute ngl
"Was the Bible written 'from the heart'?"
"I would hope so!"
Also, reminds me of
"Road work ahead? Uh, yea, I sure hope it does"Why haven't I watched this sooner, omygod
Jazz, I blame you for not pestering me to listen to Something Rotten /lh
NICK & NIGEL BOTTOM!! IS THAT THEIR NAMES?? HAVE I FIGURED IT OUT?
"Pleasure's a sin. As is music"
Pls, this entire scene
Is her name B? I literally cannot tell pls help me
"You!! Bear shit boy!!" they say to the woman dressed up as a man w/ a beard
Aww, she's adorable
Pls, that's adorable
I can't believe that the only experience of Christian Borle I've had is Falsettos & that I was missing out on this, what the actual fuxk who said that was ok???
PLS HE SQUEEZED A MAN'S ASS AS HE WALKED OFF STAGE
*coughs* That's not water
I can't hear the words "Occupational Hazard" w/out thinking of How to Train Your Dragon
Pls, I wanna know what would've happened if the girl hadn't run & yelled (what did she say? I have a lot of trouble understanding what they're saying when it's sudden & they're yelling)
Also, the way he power walked over there, pls
"HELLO DADDY-OOO"
Little Shop of Whores
Pls, what is this, intimidation w/ tap shoes?
PLS WILL JUST FORLORNLY WALKING OFFSTAGE
"So raise a glass" to freedom? "to Omelette: the Musical!"
Once again, we have immediate, loud drumming
Hard to be the Bard is the song that got me into this musical
This is exactly how I feel whenever I try to write anything
Ayup
I don't know enough musicals to understand all the references & that makes me really sad
Pls, these two are adorable
Will continuously trying to get the script but it keeps being taken out of his hands is beyond funny
The show opens in a week & they have nothing written
If someone said somthin like that to me, I would just break down. No joke
LMAO SOME PEOPLE IN THE AUDIENCE AUDIBLY "UGH"ED WHEN THEY THOUGHT HE WAS LEANING IN TO KISS HIM LDMAKAHXHXBDHDKLANWHXID
"Shall I compare thee to a horse's ass?"
I am so using that line as much as I possibly canWhy is everyone so pretty?
Because of the bands holding the mask in place, it looks like the soothsayer (what's his name, help) has pigtails
Also, this is unrelated, but I got one of my friends into Newsies (movie vers) & she's now in love w/ Spot. She asked me for help but like, how I am supposed to help w/ somthin like that??? I'm in love w/ him too
I see where the tap dancing eggs come into play
How does someone even come up w/ an idea like this??
"That's right, this just happened"
Pls, I usually hate people like this but he's amazing
I think it's just cause it's Christian Borle but who really knowsOHNO, NOT THE PROVOCATIVE PARADING OF EGGS
"Clearly the fool has lost his head already"
Woah, sudden zoom in
"Ooh, I love how he puts words in the wrong order!!!"
"Look!" *prances across stage* "Homosexuals! Come back (word I can't understand)!!"
Pls, I love Portia
"What? No! Oh goddamnit!"
Dramatic gasp
Also, idk about the late 1500s or 1600s or whenever this takes place, but I know that in the 1800s saying the word "Damn" was actually a lot more looked down upon than it is now. Like, it was a really bad word. Idk about when this takes place, but if it's the same then he just committed a big nono"We wanted a new country home. And now we're getting a home in a new country."
Idk why, but Nigel's outfit kinda reminds me of Miles
+ Nick's kinda reminds me of Angus's a little bitPLS THE SOOTHSAYER
CHRISTIAN'S SMILE AS HE WALKS UP TO BOW
+ THE HAIR FLIP
Wow, what a good musical. I am upset that I didn't watch this sooner
If you couldn't tell, I had a lot of trouble w/ names
I don't have much to say, honestly. This wasn't one of those musicals where I have a lot of commentary, I just kinda enjoy watching it
Which musical should I do next? No promises on actually doing it, cause we all know how my motivation is. I first listened to Hadestown in December, & Mean Girls in September & I haven't watched either of those yet.
ANyways, love y'all!
