Chapter ~ 1

"Yes, I am looking for a Cassie Willer," I hear him say I run up to him and hug him as tight as I can. "Hey, Kiddo I've missed the shit out of you!" Sam smiles and rubs my head like a child.

"Oh of how much I've missed you," I playfully punch his shoulder.
"So how was," he rubs his shoulder." "Missouri?" He asks. I stare at my shoes wishing he didn't bring it up.
"It's okay kiddo, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to," he hugs me and grabs my bag from my hands. "I want to, I just don't know how to bring it up," he nods and smiles.

"Well we need to get home, moms so anxious to see you," I give a smile and nod

"Oh darling I've missed you so much it feels like forever! You look so beautiful and wow so much better to! I'm so happy that you're home!" My mom hugs me so tight it takes my breathe away.

"Mom," Sam puts his hand on her shoulder. "Don't kill her," she laughs and let's me go. "I've missed you too mom," I smile.
She grabs my arm. "We have so much to talk about honey!"

I give Sam a scared look, all he did was laugh. "So, how was Missouri?"
Why does everybody keep asking?
"It worked," I let out a fake smile.
"It looks like it did!" She hugs me tight. "How have you been mom?" I ask she smiles. "Good, I got a new job down town and it's amazing there," she laughs. "Oh what's it called?" She fiddles her thumbs "I'm not for sure actually,"

I let out a small laugh.
"Okay," I smile. "I have this one little question," I say.
"And that is?" She asks. "Can I borrow you car?" She laughs "Ashton's?" I nod. "Go have fun we will talk more later," she says.

I walk out of the living room and Sam stands at the door talking to some guy.
"Oh hey Cassie," Sam says. "Is this your new pick up?" The guy says. He gives a smirk at me then looks back at Sam. "Actually, no," he pauses. "This is my sister, Cassie, this is Mason, Mason this is Cassie," he pointed at me then at the guy who appeared to be Mason, then back at me.

"Oh, well she's a real cutie," his face was so good looking, his hair was dark brown, he had dark brown eyes, and oh, don't get me started on the jawline.
"No, no," Sam pushed him. "She's 17, and you're 19, never in a million years would I let you touch my sister," he stared right into masons eyes. "Now go," he shoved Mason out the door,

"he seems like a player," I say watching him walk away.
"He is, sees a girl and sleeps with her, then moves on to the next," I nod as I see him disappear into his car. "I don't like him," I walk back in the house. "Good," he says.

I hold out my hand. He gives me a look. "I need to barrow you keys," I say. "No," was all he said. "Why?"
"Because, I don't trust you with my car," I let my head drop. "Fine I'll just walk home in the dark were some one can rape me," I say
"Fine," he's says hanging me his keys. "Thanks," I kiss his cheek.
"Just please bring it back in one piece!"

I stop at the gas station to get a bottle of water before going Ashton's. I stand at the counter and hand the cashier my card and walk out.
"Didn't expect to see you here cutie," I herd a guy say. I turn my head and see Mason standing against the wall. "Getting water," I shake the bottle in the air. He nods slowly.
A girl walks by and says hi to Mason and he smiles and checks her out. I roll my eyes and start walking. "Ey," Mason grabs my arm. I look at him. "Wanna get some food?" He asks with a smile. "No," I say.

"Knew you were going to say that," he points at me.
"Goodbye," I say and start walking.
"What's your problem with me?" He asks holding his hand out to the side.
"You seem like an ass!!" I say back at him before getting in the car.
