(Zhan's POV)
You know Zhan, helping her will end up getting you killed? Who givesa shit? I am not going to let a woman get hurt right now. She wasn't hurting anybody so I have a right to save her. She had a big gash behind her ear.
Does she even know she is part vampire? I wondered while biting my wrist and pressing it up to her lips, letting the blood drip in. The gash began to slowly heal up. Removing my wrist, I pick her up gently. Materializing back at her place I walk into her room, placing her softly on her bed.
"Never going fishing again," she mumbles, "too many whales talking."
Cracking a smile as she rolls over I try not to laugh out. I wish I could sit with her until she wakes up but I have to somehow bring myself to end her beautiful life. I mean I take as long as I want, The Elders told me I need a break anyway. I could say I killed her, wait until right before I have to leave, and do so, or I could do it now and stop being such a little baby about everything. Come on! You've killed thousands of people, why not her? I thought.
It would be so easy right now, but I can't. It's something about her that makes her different. She doesn't even know a killer is on the room with her, or that she has even met one. So how could I harm her when she hasn't harmed anyone. Not even my kind. Her kind too.
"Grow some balls! You have killed others who you didn't even talk to!" Groaning.
I realize that I might have just woke her up. I ran, diving out of the window as she was about to sit up.

(Hali's POV)
.
Where am I? What happened? I groaned blinking my eyes fast. I thought I saw a shadow dash across the room and out the window. How weird I thought, shaking my head.
"Owww!" I groaned. My head is killing me. Did I drink? No, I would never do that to my body. I eased out of bed. Stumbling across the room catching myself on the windowsil.
Blinking, I notice something fuzzy in the corner of the fence. Is that someone? I'm starting to think I'm being followed. Who the hell would want to follow me? If someone is following me it must be for a good reason. I think as I strip down to nothing and crawl into bed.
Don't I have to stay up for an hour or something after hitting my head? I don't remember. My head hurts too bad to think at the present moment. Oh great, now I can't go to bed! What am I supposed to do? Well, I could always go for another run and clear my head. Yeah, that would work out real well with my head split open.
Wait a minute! I leaped out of bed at a dead run for the bathroom. Throwing the door open I stopped and looked into the mirror. Holy cow! No bod? No gash? No anything! Sinking my teeth into my lip I start thinking about how I could've healed that fast. Not unless I've been seeing someone. Well even if I was seeing someone, they couldn't heal me like that.
