Shaking, I look at all the updated photo's of me. I scanned the room quickly and pulled my shoes on quietly. I snuck out the back door. Breathing heavily, I bolted across the yard at a dead sprint. He's the one trying to kill me? Why? What did I ever do to him? I haven't even met him until like two days ago. Staying at a steady run down the road, I knew he would have to catch me, but since he was in the bathroom. He wouldn't know.
I came to the end of the driveway and I skidded to a halt as I saw him standing there looking pissed. How the fuck?! No. That isn't possible!
He had his hands on his hips and his eyes looked like they were glowing. Literally. In nothing but his shorts, his eyes met mine in an angry glare. I shook from fear and I saw the guilt in his eyes. No, I thought sadly, he's going to kill me right here.
My breathing became shallow as he moved toward me with an angry stride. I looked around but there was no one I could scream for that could help me. No one was around for miles. He knew exactly what he was doing. He's a murderer Hali! You let him in!
Turning on my heel quickly, I quickly bolted across the field. I could hear his heavy footsteps running after me.
No! I thought as tears streamed down my face.
He was going to catch me.
No! You do not give up! Run your ass off!! You're a runner. You can beat him.
I saw a river near by. If I could make it to that I could bolt across it! Making it to the very edge, I stopped.
"Holy shit on a stick," I mumbled to myself. It was a cliff! No, this can't be happening..
I looked over my shoulder as he was closing the distance on me. No or never Hali! I screamed at myself. Sucking in a deep breath, I launched myself off the cliff.
"Please don't let there be rocks at the end of this. Please let me live to make it out of this," I thought as my body hit the water.
