Chapter 4: Book store

KADE'S POV

After reading in the garden  I take my time getting back to the dorm with the guys. It may be best to not get lost here- then I'll look like a fool.
I go down more familiar looking hallways. Yea this seems right.

My mind keep wondering off to that girl.
Apparently that Kira girl and I are both strong. Are these guys messing with me or something? She seemed nothing like a threat-I couldnt even sense her powers...But she did say she was looking for a book to help with her powers. If we're similar then she must be simply weak.  Like a way weaker version of myself. Someone I have to apparently step on to get to the top of the ranks..

"Ugh." I sigh allowed.
Why was she such a big deal? What has she done?

I walk Into the dorm room using our key. I think Sage said something to me, but I ignored it.  I take a seat on the couch.

She looked as innocent as a small child. Well not exactly like a small child- she definitely had a feminine figure- ugh never mind that! If she was like me she should have carried herself differently. Hm unless she was hiding something.. right?
I means she's here, so she has to be strong...somehow. Maybe it's a mental strength?

"Earth to Kade!" Drake says in my face.

I look up quickly. "What!?" I growl loudly. He interrupted my thinking.

"You alright ,bud?" Drake asked. "You looked like you were thinking really really hard."

I look to Drew Instead of  the two. He was looking  at me also. Was I really that out of it?

"I see." Sage smiles. "You're confused about something."

How did he? Oh wait-he can read my emotions if he tries hard enough.

"Or someone." Drew sits on a chair close by.  I can't keep anything from these three.

They watched me silently waiting for me to tell them what's on my mind. This is creepy.

"I met Kira. In the library." I mumble.

"How'd it go!? Are y'all best friends??" Drake asks smiling.

"Nah, Kades too cold hearted for that Drake." Sage pushes Drake.
Cold hearted? Yeah I don't think so.

"Let me breathe." I say with a sigh. The two then backed up a bit.
I don't have to tell them what happened do I?

"Speaking of meeting people."  Drew says causing us to look up.

"Kade, you need to know about Andrew, and why he's such a problem." He speaks seriously.
This Andrew guy must be real trouble if I have to get lectured on him.
Drew continues with his information.

"For starters, he's an asswhole. He also used to date Kira. Let's just say he wasn't the best boyfriend-the worst actually.  Andrew is a tall grey Cat with spiky hair and blue eyes, kade-and trust me. No matter how nice he may seem at first he does. not. like. you.." Drew points to me. What did I do to this Cat?

"How do you know that?" I asked seriously. That's real odd.

"I have powers-look I just know this. You gotta trust me. Don't be stubborn about it. If you piss him off enough ive seen him use potions on people.. it's not cool. " Drew looks away..

I can tell he is angry with this. What have this cat done to him. Drew is too strong to worried about some ally cat.

"But Anyways. If you see him by Kira just stay on your toes, Kay?" Drew walks into his room looking stressed.
